What started out as a good thing has morphed into an “everybody must do this or else” situation. I’d wear it gladly, but to try to hurt or publicly shame the players who opt not to is wrong.

I don’t really care if guys wanna write bible verses on their hats, nothing wrong with that, but most guys aren’t writing it on their hat every game. It’s only when it’s the pride hat. And that’s when it goes from being religious to being hateful, and then they play dumb about it
