@Nithya_Shrii People have historically worked 16-18 hours per day for 365 days per year with no days off and no retirement. If you didn't, you would starve.

You work 8 hours to live 4. You work 8 hours to eat in 15 minutes. You work 5 days to enjoy 2. You work all year just to have 28 days of annual leave. And people still call this a “LIFE”.

Some people do. I work 10 hours for a higher quality of life. I skip lunch and eat on the go to be available to my team. I take one day off because Saturdays are an opportunity to bring in money and catch up on what I didn't durning the week. I take 2-3 weeks a year to take my wife on unforgettable trips

@Nithya_Shrii Most people have an income problem because they only are working 5 days a week instead of 6. Your schedule sounds like a lazy person actually. You should take more lunch time (those lunch meetings make real money).

Let me know what time in history or what country currently you would rather be living it. Imagine life 100 years ago during the Industrial Revolution when people worked 10-12 hours a day, 6 days a week with no health care if paid time off. Or, 200 years ago when everyone farmed their own land from morning till night and died at a young age with no leisure time. Retirement and leisure time only came about in the early to mid 20th century. And you worked 5-6 days for it.
