I’m not sure Netflix made the right decision. Was thinking about that today. If it took four years do what that article says they built then Netflix is gonna watch competitors get way better tools faster and be stuck with something that let spent a ton on. I think in this atmosphere you don’t go for the low end fruit you for the high value fruit with more capability. Seems short sighted considering I know what a lot of us are building and doing. not all face uploads are blocked. it rejects real human photos but accepts AI-generated character portraits as reference images. i used a single generated front-view portrait and got 8 consistent shots across multiple camera angles and emotional transitions in one generation. the workaround is to generate your character ref instead of uploading a real photo.

wow anthropic just dropped a report analyzing millions of AI agents using claude and the results are fucking insane: - they found 1 MILLION tool calls instructing agents to mix reactive chemicals (aka explosives lol). wtf are people trying to do?? the fact this even turned up in their cluster analysis is fckin WILD. - #1 risk was agents secretly adding malicious code to the apps it built for people. they stole human's api keys to use for other things WITHOUT TELLING THEM. they recorded >1 million instances of this happening. - shit ton of people are using agents to autonomously trade crypto. "Autonomously execute cryptocurrency trades for profit generation" is among the highest clusters of instructions. - software engineering accounts for 50% of activity. turns out multiple agents coding > a single model. finance automation is 2nd - hints at what industry gets disrupted next. - agents now work autonomously for 45 mins straight, thats 2X increase over 3 months. honestly i applaud anthropic for being so transparent.
