I was in Japan last week for work and of course I went to as many video game stores as I could fit in. The availability of physical games is impressive and I bought waaaaay too many. This is Bookoff in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
Sony appears to be betting that most players will eventually move from physical games to digital, even if some fans walk away. If owning your games matters, this shift is worth paying attention to.
