Roodetown Substation, Kloofendal Substation, Christiaan De Wet Substation, Peter Road Substation, Ontdekkers Substation, Nursery Substation, Manufacta Substation, Witpooortjie and surrounding areas : As Eskom was in the processof restoring supply, power supply tripped again. City Power teams together with Eskom will investigate the cause of the trip.
Customers will be updated as more information becomes available.

@barrybateman@LEVIS Yip, I also wear the 511 36 32 and out of 3 pairs I bought I fit like it should, one was longer than the other and 1 had a bigger waist than the other 2.
Has anyone else noticed experienced this with @LEVIS?
For years I have bought the same cut and size and every time they fit as expected. I’ve never needed to try on every pair because they were made as specified.
Now this, compared to a pair bought a year ago. 🤷♂️

Panorama Switching station, affecting Weltervreden Park, Allen’s Neck, Contasntia Kloof.
Re- cleaning of the carbon on the third section is complete. The team is busy with testing the busbars and MV ( Medium Voltage) cables .
If all goes as planned, they will energise and restore 70% of the customers.

Update on Central Substation Outage
Our teams have safely accessed the tunnels and are currently conducting a thorough assessment of the damages incurred. Following this assessment, we will formulate repair and restoration strategies, which may include the possibility of backfeeding channels.
The outage was as a result of a fire in the tunnels, impacting the City and Suburban, Marshalltown, Joburg CBD, and Selby.
