@MaxineMreilly As of now it is the Lions Head, Signal Hill and the Glen area that are closed due to the recent fires and the area still posing a risk to our visitors. Other than that it is business as usual and our hiking and cycling trails are open.

Last night we had 2 crews out on the #TafelbergRoadFire undertaking mop up operations after the devastating fire on Sunday. For this fire, 92 members put in approx 850 hours, incl support members at base. @TableMountainNP @wo_fire are still on scene & Kloof road remains closed.

#TafelbergRoadFire Update: Table Mountain National Park​ has closed all trail in and around the burnt area. Over 100 firefighters remain on scene and more of our volunteers will be heading out this evening to replace the day crews. news24.com/SouthAfrica/Ne… via @News24
