China’s Foreign Ministry stated that China and the United States are ready to “play a constructive role” in resolving the Russian-Ukrainian war. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, commenting after a meeting between Xi Jinping and Donald Trump, said that both sides hope for a swift settlement of the conflict and have made significant efforts to advance peace negotiations. “Complex issues do not have simple solutions, and peace negotiations cannot be achieved overnight. Both China and the United States are ready to maintain dialogue and play a constructive role in the political resolution of the crisis,” China’s Xinhua News Agency quoted him as saying.

ICE protester brutally slammed backward into concrete—for calling an agent names. Agent claims he was responding to "aggressive verbal behavior" that obstructed operation. Video clearly shows man peacefully protesting—when agent walks many steps out of his way to assault him. Incident occurred outside the ICE facility in southwest Portland, Oregon.
