So a chemistry faculty from sikar filed an FIR and mailed NTA about the NEET paper leak & eventually a chemistry lecturer from latur got arrested as the mastermind behind the entire scam. The chemistry of this reaction mechanism is so fascinating to me, one chemist added the catalyst & another turned out to be the precipitate.

Sir, Institutions such as the NTA, RBI, SEBI, and DGCA are professional and technical bodies. In any other country, they are headed by domain experts. It is a bane of India that generalists — whose professional or technical knowledge is no greater than that of any clerk or section officer in the secretariat — continue to rule the roost over everything. ISRO and the Atomic Energy Commission are two notable exceptions where the role of generalists is almost non-existent. As a result, India is a global leader in both fields. It is time for a paradigmatic shift in the way we man our professional and technical institutions — both at the Central and State levels.

NTA is a third rate agency failing the students appearing for #NEETUG 2026. And the focus now in the debates is not who should be held responsible and punished most severely but on number of people arrested. Students are breaking down under mental pressure, given the tension of giving the exam again. The last head of NTA went briefly to Steel ministry and is now promoted as CM's Secy Chattisgarh. NTA was then held by no one but a retired IAS on extra assignment. 2 months back the new IAS came. He says CBA computer based test capability is only for 1.5 lacs and matter with education or Health ministry. Minister Pradhan is super busy with elections and Nadda ji with installation ceremonies. They have no time to express even a word of sympathy bcs thinking about reducing carcade is very complicated exercise and takes a lot of time. Are we losing it? Withs o many points of leakage how can you avoid paper leaks unless you make it CBT and babus dont have time and look up to ministers. Both education and health secys shd be sacked along with the NTA chief for playing with the lives of 24 lakh students. Have a professor IIT head it. Ask TCS should manage it. Make NTA a profit centre and autonomous. Now I dont know who were ancestors of NEET in Pandit Nehru times and what did Pandi ji say on a leak if there was one but at present @narendramodi ji our PM shd actually express his mann ki baat on this issue on sunday, announcing the sacking of NTA chief, Edu and Health secys and announce a new set up with a new head of NTA and a system. Lets not be 90 years behind
