@FrankConniff It's odd when it happened. An hour after he flew back, landed in DC early hours of the morning, died 1 hour later? Guess he wasn't flying commercial, but still, odd timing. Wonder if he died in Ukraine and they rushed him back.

Why won’t they tell us what this “brief and unexpected illness“ was? I’d like to buy it a drink.

If you find The Hobbit difficult to read, you're functionally illiterate and your parents and your schools failed you.
pete@pete_churchill

@bazashc Have you ever read it??? It’s 100% not a children’s book and whoever says that is lying to you. Not only is the vernacular dated and elaborate but the sentence structure and lengthy writing is often hard to get your head around as an adult. Love that book! but it’s not for kids

@BladeoftheS The Speaker can still eject him as, believe it or not, while there is no specific law, there is still a dress code, and that dress code is business attire, wearing a bin on your head is not business attire.

If Count Binface wins he may be able to wear his bin in Parliament. The rules on Parliament attire are not actually legally binding. While a 1313 Parliament Act bans Suits of Armour, but it is clearly not Armour.

@MesserBest @AllyFogg Maybe. Or maybe it'll be a Boaty McBoatface situation. And Farage is a shit MP who can't be bothered to do his job. And you underestimate how many people loathe him and would do anything to see him humiliated. That chance isn't zero.

I am absolutely deadly serious when I say that assuming all other parties do stand down, Count Binface could and will beat Farage in a straight contest.

@vapertvaping And the UK is the country that voted for Boaty McBoatface for a new ship, and Rage Against the Machine to be the Xmas No.1 to rub Simon Cowell's nose in it. This is totally to form.

@vapertvaping Also hilarious that the other parties aren't taking Farage's bait here, they're ignoring this play, and a bloke with a bin on his head is out media'ing him and getting more airtime than Farage does.

@vapertvaping Downright traditional. Look up Screaming Lord Sutch and The Monster Raving Loony Party (and Official, and Xmas Parties). It's awesome.
