Just had a disturbing experience on my flight back from London to NYC. The man seated next to me was apparently going through withdrawal and had what appeared to be a psychotic break mid-flight. At first he just seemed to be a bit strange, making an announcement apologizing for his feet smelling. At one point he asked me about crypto because I was writing an article. He said he had $30K in debt and hoped he could make some money. Things took a turn when we hit some turbulence. He was on oxygen and acting very erratically — crying, writing handwritten notes to God begging for his life and asking me to make sure his puppy was ok if he died. He kept trying to get up to pace around the plane and got angry when the flight attendants stopped him. He got increasingly agitated and aggressive and started shouting at me and the passengers nearby, accusing us of judging and murdering him. They had to move me and another seatmate three times because he kept wandering up the plane to find and threaten us. At one point he tried to open the cabin door. 5 flight attendants eventually had to physically restrain and handcuff him. He was removed from the plane by 4 police officers when we landed. Scary situation that is reportedly happening more frequently on flights. I hope he gets the help he needs.

Fewture Pojects: Use new technology at our disposal to quickly build relevant “pop up” games (co-owned with actual gamers and content creators) then release rare digital merch all within a limited time window. Then shut it down and move on to the next title… Love AAA games but I don’t got the time nor money to make those 😂. Free Game from yours truly…You’re welcome.

Yo!! NFT Paris is always a vibe but I can’t help but notice the lack of voices from Gen Z & Gen Alpha. The culture makers aren’t being included at the top of the pyramid. It’s a BIG mistake..not just in Web3 but in consumer brand corporations at large. A lot of Executives (not all) want to be the rockstars and be the visionary thought leaders instead of embracing, supporting and elevating the voices who have the innate knowledge of the internet, brand, content, curation and games. It’s not one way or the other but it’s too lopsided the wrong way rn. Even myself talking on all these panels seems inauthentic to me sometimes. I think I’ll start bringing these internet kids out on my own and squad up.. start our own talks and thought leadership. Yeah, that’s what I’ll do 🤔.
