Last night I made myself a quick meal (snack) of hot dogs on white bread with sliced American cheese melted on it. Anyone else have these quick things they make that have survived from your youth?

@SintonCrane That’s about where I’m at in terms of word count everyday! Although some days I’m too exhausted for even that. It’s so frustrating sometimes! But definitely adds up!

Am I the only one with a day job or am I just lazy? Currently only getting 300-800 words in between everything else 😩

(Disclaimer: I don’t care if you follow me or not. I’m just bored and coping with writer burnout and a sick fish.) Use these at your discretion, to follow or not to follow: 1. Pineapple belongs on pizza. 2. GIF is pronounced like giraffe. 3. Raised Catholic, became Asatru, now simply spiritual. 4. I play shamanic drums, use a Nordic signal horn, and strum a guqin like I’m unintentionally trying to wake the dead. 5. I listen to K-Pop, tribal, folk, Irish, ambient, jazz, Christmas, dark meditation, 80’s, Gregorian Chant, Peter Gundry, Danheim, The Hu, Stray Kids, DPR Ian, Enhyphen, Ateez, Prince, Beastie Boys … anything but country and American rap.

It’s strange how oddly confident I am that I’ll never run out of story ideas but that I’m constantly worried I won’t be able to think of something to post on social media (which is a requirement of the craft, as my writer friends know) 🙃 #amwriting #novelist

The hardest part about writing is having patience. I want my story out now but I know it's going to take me 3 more passes until it's at the level I'd be happy with. Gotta sloooow down

Is it just me, or do other authors feel like they constantly rate other novels (even best sellers) higher on Goodreads than their other non-writer friends? Maybe I just feel the author’s pain of a bad review 😅 #amwriting #writersofX #thrillerwriter

At what point in your first draft do you start to feel the most resistance? I commonly find myself super motivated until about the 20,000 word mark, where I start to really have to push myself to get over the hump. I’m wondering if that’s normal🤨 #amwriting #writerslife
