NY Gov openly admits that putting higher taxes on businesses & people earning higher incomes results in those people leaving the state. She says NY can’t afford govt programs anymore because the tax base moved to FL. Warming to anyone in CO pushing higher taxes! #copolitics

@MarlasDilemma In the bill itself, you can see that they designate 16% of the clawback for education (only for 10 years) and the rest is for whatever the legislature decides (permanently).

@KBBColorado Where can we get data showing where a TABOR clawback would go? I'm old-fashioned and value facts.

If you oppose blank checks to the govt, you will NOT like SB26-135. The legislature is putting this on the ballot with HIGHLY misleading ballot language & claim this is just for education. The reality is that education gets a paltry sum while the state gets billions #copolitcs

Another bad ranking for Colorado under liberal control and one more reason more people are leaving the state than moving in. ⬇️ Liberal policies drive people out. #copolitics

Elana Meyers Taylor has quickly become one of my favorite Olympians. At 41 years old, she has won six Olympic medals, including a recent gold medal in monobob, which ties her with speed skater Bonnie Blair for the most decorated American woman in Winter Olympic history. Her story is a powerful testament to resilience and longevity. More importantly, she is a devoted mother to two boys: Nico and Noah. Both boys are deaf, and Nico also has Down syndrome. In a world that often views disabilities as limitations, Elana challenges those perceptions head-on. She brings Nico to competitions, demonstrating that children with Down syndrome can lead joyful and fulfilling lives. #WinterOlympicGames helenraleigh.substack.com/p/on-the-day-t…

Vanessa became pregnant at 19 and thought her life was over. She scheduled an abortion. She walked into the clinic alone. She texted a picture of the ultrasound to her boyfriend. He responded: "Let us keep our baby. Please, I’ll do everything I can to help you and support you.” Here is baby Luna today:

At least 80% of kids in Adams 14 can’t read at grade level. Only 13% met or exceeded expectations in the English portion of the CMAS, and only 8.6% in Math. Maybe staying at school and actually teaching kids would be a better move on a school day. #copolitics

Naomi’s parents were told to consider abortion when she was diagnosed with an intrauterine growth restriction at 23 weeks. They were told that abortion restriction laws didn’t apply to them because “that’s how bad” Naomi’s health was. Naomi’s parents refused. Here she is at 5-years-old.

This is Sawyer. She was saved when a doctor was able to reverse the effects of the abortion pill. She isn't just a clump of cells or tissue. She's a little human being who deserves life.

Liberals can't take voters' NO for an answer on changing TABOR. They're coming again to take your refunds. Of course they claim it's "for the kids." But giving education $90 million out of $450 BILLION is a clear slush fund for government. denverpost.com/2026/01/25/col… #copolitics

@KBBColorado If Charter Schools weren’t allowed to pick and choose students and had to follow public school policies then I would support your argument. They don’t and you know it.

@Shawjd9656 First, no. I support neighborhood, charter, private, and home schools. School choice for families is key. Second, have you looked at the increase in academic achievement at charter schools across CO, compared to neighborhood schools? I suggest you do.
