Congratulations to Cllr John Stephens and Cllr Cillian Keane, who have been selected as Fianna Fáil’s candidates for next month’s by-elections in Dublin Central and Galway West. Two great candidates, seven weeks of hard but enjoyable work ahead of us!

Great to kick semester 2 off with Refreshers yesterday. It was great to meet so many new members ahead of a semester filled with great events! Thanks to our HLM Cllr Michael Clark for popping by the stand.

As always, I enjoyed my all-too-fleeting visit to the Astra Hall earlier today for UCD Refreshers Day. My Fianna Fáil colleagues in the Kevin Barry Cumann did a great job and I was also delighted to meet committee members from the L&H and LawSoc and many other societies.

Best of luck to our former Cathaoirleach @CillianKeane1 in the upcoming Seanad election.

Congratulations to our new DLR County Council colleague; Fiona Murray, who was selected by Dundrum members to replace Shay Brennan TD. Fiona will be co-opted to the Council on Wednesday. Commiserations to Elaine Dunne and Darragh Moran who also contested the convention.

After the recent signing of the Mercosur trade deal, the Central Officer Board of Ógra once again take this opportunity to reiterate our position on the deal ⬇️.

The Cumann was present at the annual Liam Mellows Commemoration this morning in Castletown. We were joined by newly elected TD and former Cumann Secretary @malcolmbyrne. @cynimhurchu gave a power oration. Ar aghaidh le Fianna Fáil!
