@fisayosoyombo @adesinapelumi_ is this the progress we celebrate? Japan fixed their Tsunami damaged roads in 6 days. Road construction is not rocket science so why use over 4yrs for 5km bridge?

In case you need some extra context: At N279bn, the 4.52km Opebi-Ojota Link Bridge project of Babajide Sanwo-Olu inaugurated by Senate President Godswill Akpabio is: More than half the entire 2026 budget of Ekiti More than half the entire 2026 budget of Nasarawa More than half the entire 2026 budget of Ondo More than half the entire 2026 budget of Yobe It is also roughly half the 2026 budget of Adamawa. Imagine the governor of these states spending half their entire budget on a single project, yet the project remains uncompleted after 51 months. And, by the way, 51 months is longer than a full governorship tenure (48 months).

@KBeyioku @oyomesioro Relax. This isn’t about spinning anything it’s about accountability. Federal sets macro policy, but governors shape the local economy where people actually feel the impact. governance isn’t one layer. If you can’t hold both federal and state accountable, you been emotional.

@oyomesioro When a governor fails to deliver, people naturally turn to the federal government and that’s the problem. It’s unfortunate to see Oyo residents constantly misled, while some are on here talking without understanding the roles of the three tiers of government. Sad reality.

@adesinapelumi_ @LegendaryJoe lol, how come Otti is the exception of 36 and FCT! Otti’s performance is not and I repeat is not a direct implication of so called reform. Reform that affects only 1 state is that one reform? 🤣🤣🤣

@KBeyioku @LegendaryJoe You’re contradicting yourself praising Otti while ignoring that the same national reforms and FAAC boosts you criticise are what fund that progress. Is Otti governing outside Nigeria? Even Otti himself has praised these reforms so what exactly are you saying.

@adesinapelumi_ @LegendaryJoe Sometimes I feel you are trolling sha Pelumi because I can’t see where you are seeing the progress you are mentioning. Otti at state level has shown reform can be ongoing and citizens enjoy on the go! Even Aso Rock don port to solar, no light dey end with this government 😢

@LegendaryJoe I’ll say it as it is none comes close except Bola Ahmed Tinubu. You don’t ignore bold reforms because they’re uncomfortable. Progress isn’t painless. It’s tough today, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

@adesinapelumi_ @rwg6cdcpjx @Equityoyo @EmoTruths No Pelumi, you can’t have a project that should cost 1m for example be delivered at 100m and you say it’s justifiable. The blue rail is not a federal example but a perfect example of what I’m saying. 1 it took donkey years to complete and well over 10x international benchmarks

@KBeyioku @rwg6cdcpjx @Equityoyo @EmoTruths Nothing to laugh about. I was responding to a claim on my timeline that lacks verifiable data. We need more fact-based conversations, less assumptions. If projects are delivered, we all benefit regardless of politics. Let’s keep it objective. Happy Easter

@rwg6cdcpjx @KBeyioku @Equityoyo @EmoTruths You can question transparency, yes. Chagoury gets all contracts is false. But ignoring verified projects in health and power just to push a narrative is dishonest. Do better. Use facts. Google can help you

@akintollgate @FAjuruchi22 Such a disingenuous human you are Akin. Read the tweet again, you are intentionally twisting the narrative. Are the actions of this current government not anti-democratic? For people who boost on fighting for democracy to now look to actively undermine democracy! BIG shame

Tinubu in Jos Confirms ‘Don't Vote for Me’ Prediction on Power Supply During the 2023 campaign, President Tinubu made a clear electoral promise: “If I don’t give you constant electricity in four years, don’t vote for me for a second term.” When he took office in 2023, Nigeria had a power supply of over 4,000 megawatts and lower tariffs. Today, the electricity power supply is less than 4,000 megawatts on the average, and Nigerians are paying higher tariffs. Nigeria currently has the lowest per capita electricity consumption in the world, with a rate below 30% of the African average. Africa’s average is 617kwh, Nigeria’s is 144 kWh. This means that Nigerians consume least electricity than other Africans. In a glaring display of disregard for promises and a lack of trust, President Tinubu, during a brief airport stopover to visit grieving families of the Jos attack on Thursday, April 2, 2026, stated that one of the reasons for his 10-minute stay was that the airport had no electricity. “You have no light here I fly out in ten minutes” At a time when Nigerians are enduring days without power, our leaders cannot even stay a few minutes without it. Now is the time to stop incompetent leaders—those lacking the capacity and compassion—who prioritise their own comfort over the well-being of the people and make empty promises. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

@adesinapelumi_ @Equityoyo @EmoTruths The news points to inflated project budgets, no due diligence process to award contracts other than person know person. I don’t deal with conspiracy my brother. If you will keep borrowing our future away you should be trustworthy to use the money rightly but that isn’t the case

@adesinapelumi_ @Equityoyo @EmoTruths This is so disingenuous. How much of the infrastructural development are we seeing and at what cost? First you borrow and then over inflate the project and give to your friends and yet we come here to talk as if their aren’t genuine concerns. Ire oooo

@Equityoyo @EmoTruths Their acclaimed leader can’t even grasp basic economics so what exactly are the followers learning? It’s honestly worrying. I asked one “Obedient” in 2026 how Nigeria generates 89% of its electricity… and the answer was Kainji Dam. That was the moment I checked out.
