There was no flurry of printing massive amounts of silver certificates 2 days before the assassination. That's just obvious conspiracy rumor. In fact, JFK passed the repeal of the Silver Purchase Act on June 4, 1963, ending the federal government's acquisition of silver. The repeal reflected a broader move toward the fiat Federal Reserve currency system, untethered from gold or silver, and was the direct result of debates over monetary policy and silver’s diminishing role. By 1968, silver certificates were fully discontinued as legal tender redeemable in silver, finalizing the transition that JFK started in June 1963. 🛑 BULLSH*T WARNING: "They killed JFK because he was going to end the Fed." This allegation is based on ignorance of Executive Order 11110, which had nothing to do with the JFK assassination. It's another misdirection that muddies the water and inserts a poison pill that discredits the "israel did it" narrative. Let's debunk it. 🔴 ALLEGATION: JFK's EO 11110 was going to establish a new currency of silver-backed US Notes instead of Federal Reserve notes, and thereby end the Fed. The Fed, not wanting to yield its money power, killed Kennedy to stop him. 🔵 DEBUNKING: 1️⃣ Hundreds of Millions of dollars of silver-backed US Notes were already in circulation before JFK even became president. 2️⃣ The power to issue these silver-backed US Notes was held by several presidents going back decades before JFK. It was not some "new" power he was asserting. 3️⃣ The purpose of EO 11110 was to delegate this authority to the Secretary of the Treasury. EO 11110 would not have ended the Fed or established a new currency. 4️⃣ The silver-backed US Notes were already being issued since 1878! They were authorized under the "Act of May 31, 1878" which required that $346,681,016 of Legal Tender silver-backed US Notes always be in circulation. 5️⃣ Occasionally, the US Treasury--under the direction of the President--would issue new silver-backed US Notes to remain in compliance with the requirements of the 1878 Act. It was this power to "top off" the number of US Notes that Kennedy delegated to the Secretary of the Treasury with EO 11110. He wasn't creating a new currency or ending the Fed. 6️⃣ The Act of 1878--requiring silver-backed US Notes to be kept in circulation--was finally discontinued in 1994 via the Riegle Improvement Act that relieved the Treasury of the requirement of issuing these US Notes. If this had been the motive for killing JFK, why were these silver-backed notes continued until 1994? Why weren't they discontinued right away? Why weren't other presidents after JFK killed for keeping these notes in circulation? 7️⃣ Lyndon Johnson issued the same silver-backed $100 notes in 1966! But he wasn't assassinated. If this had been the motive for killing JFK, why didn't they then also kill Johnson? 8️⃣ Lyndon Johnson didn't rescind EO 11110 & it persisted into the 1980s. If it had been the motive for killing JFK, why didn't Johnson, Nixon, or Carter, rescind it? And why were none of them assassinated for keeping it in force? 9️⃣ If Executive Order 11110 would have ended the Fed--why did the Fed continue existing despite the EO persisting into the 1980s? 🟢 REALITY: 🔟 JFK was actually seeking the END of issuing silver-backed US Notes in favor of using Federal Reserve Notes, because the demand for silver for industrial applications was driving the price too high for using it as money.
