Jackson County had over FIFTY YEARS to build literally ANYTHING around Arrowhead and did NOTHING. THEN, they turnaround and vote DOWN the renovation proposal. The writing was on the wall and Jackson County resident held the pen.

People will be so mad when they find out KC will (maybe) get 1 Super Bowl in our lifetimes, maybe one Final 4 every 15 years. Our players are worthy of a real football stadium w/ sun & fresh air & real grass & yes, the cold. The Hunts just pissed on Lamar & the players for greed.

The ironic thing is people from Missouri drove to Kansas to bet sports the last several years. Kansas just used all that Missouri gambling money to get the Chiefs..lol.

@jerryKCGyoung Arrowhead is the third oldest stadium in the NFL. It’s a 53-year-old infrastructure mess. Everyone knows that. Are you gonna keep putting paint on a stadium for the next 50 years pushing 75-100 yrs. It’s not the Roman Colosseum it’s a dump.

If this bullshit move to Kansas is true, I dont care theyre leaving Jackson county because theyre going to still be in the metro basically. I care that theyre leaving Arrowhead. That place is legendary. Holds the Guiness Record. Arrowhead is the Chiefs. Nothing will be the same.

If you live in the city of Kansas City, Missouri and voted against the extension of the sales tax that would’ve kept the Chiefs and Royals in Kansas City, Missouri you deserve as much blame for the Chiefs leaving as you’re trying to put on the Mayor and the City Council.

@StugotzStan790 @GehrigDieter There’s plenty of small markets that have hosted a Super Bowl. ( Jacksonville, Vegas, New Orleans) . All you need is one answer..a 3 billion stadium. This is a no-brainer. 1/3 of NFL stadiums are domes. This isn’t 1972 anymore.

@GehrigDieter Kansas City is full of band wagon fans, baseball and football. Chiefs just won 3 Super Bowls and these guys are salty as hell. Two years after the Royals won the World Series, fans turned on them. They had a chance to vote on this and they voted it down. It’s their own fault.

@ChiefsfanCHI23 Exactly, the infrastructure at arrowhead is a mess. It’s 53 years old and falling down. 53 years all they have is a Casey’s and a Taco Bell..lol. The new area is so much better and will be.

I don’t know why you mf’ers are so upset about the move. Kansas City, Kansas is like 25 minutes away and Overland Park is much better than the Plaza.
