Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department have identified the woman killed early Saturday morning in the 700 block of North 11th Street as Anna Juarez, 11-4-2004, a resident of Kansas City, Kansas.

The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department Traffic Division is currently investigating a fatality accident that has taken the life of one person.

Detectives have announced that the suspect in Saturday’s double-homicide in the 1600 block of Washington Blvd. has been arrested and charged.

State Ave. between 82 Terr. and 84th Dr. is currently blocked as KCKPD is on scene of an officer involved shooting. No officers injured. Suspect transported to an area hospital. Please avoid the area. KBI will be investigating per protocol.

The KCKPD has identified the individual discovered deceased early yesterday morning in the 4600 block of Greeley Ave. as Elcena Painter, 8-9-1990, a resident of Kansas City, Kan. This incident remains under investigation by the KCKPD Major Case and Traffic Investigation Units.

Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department have released the identity of the victim in Monday morning’s homicide in the 1200 Block of N. 7thSt. Trfy., and have arrested and charged the suspect.

Detectives with the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department are currently investigating the City’s 10th homicide of the year, in the 2700 Block of S. 8th Terr.

While responding to a domestic disturbance overnight officers with the KCKPD were involved in a shooting with an adult, male suspect. He was transported to an area hospital & is in stable condition. No officers were injured. The KBI will conduct the investigation.

The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department has positively identified the body pulled yesterday from the Missouri River is that of missing KCK resident, 39-year-old, Brandon Anfinson.
