@emily_fri I have a google number that rings on my cell phone. I give it to every postop. If my phone rings on the google voice number, I know it’s a patient. If I don’t answer, google transcribes message and texts it. Patients feel like they have 24/7 access and they rarely use it.

Agree! I despise this medical speak convention. Creates an image of a patient that is equivalent to a whining toddler, not an adult asking for professional advice and care.

What if we changed “chief complaint” to “highest priority concern”? Patients aren’t just “complaining.” They are seeking help for a concern. Anyone else wonder how changing one phrase found in every piece of medical documentation might fundamentally change how we view people?

- Biopsy of adrenal (any RP mass) without metanephrines check
- No biochemical workup for adrenal mass read as “benign adenoma” on radiology report
