Over the June 29th weekend, @Astro_Ayers and I participated in Ham Radio Field Day, the biggest weekend for amateur ham radio operators in North America. Held on the 4th weekend of June, it’s a social gathering of hams to extend community outreach, encourage emergency preparedness, and most importantly, have fun. Getting a contact from space is a bucket list item for a lot of hams so Vapor and I tried our best to make as many contacts as possible. I’ll be up here for a few more months and look forward to more contacts in the future. 73! @ARISS_Intl

Definitely not a permanent setup but got a 433mhz tbeam running rdz_ttgo_sonde for weather balloons! Just wish the weather would cooperate and bring the balloons close so that way I could look for them! #HamRadio

Launched a Meshtastic balloon tonight. Should be over Pittsburgh PA now. Well over 200 new nodes now 😂 Fun to make contacts over the mesh with a floating repeater. #meshtastic
