A whole lot of otherwise smart people seem to assume this unimaginably destructive, and completely unrestrained, power would only ever be used on some other country. That's not a safe bet. And it shows a total lack of understanding of a certain mental illness.

Cruz is trying to undermine a fairly decided election (which DHS called the “most secure in American history”), cynically knowing that though the current attempt will fail, it will now be much more likely that a future one will succeed. This is sedition.

@Charlotte_Stein Same. And so often it's not that people want to go back to THEIR jobs, they want "service people" to get back to catering to their needs. The lack of empathy -- and frankly, intelligence -- is appalling.

And then just in case that’s not bad enough, half the time it’s people itching to get back to things that will kill hundreds of thousands of people. I don’t think I’ll ever get over that.
