During my stay in Kuwait, I carried a Kuwait ID that documented and verified my ability to be there. I too also underwent qualification authentication, police clearance, and medical screening before being granted a visa.

during my time in Taiwan, I carried an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) that documented my purpose of residence, address, employment, and personal details, making it straightforward for authorities to verify who I am and my status. Taiwan, China, South Korea and other countries systems requires migrants to report to police within 24 hours of international travel and re-register any address changes. I also underwent qualification authentication, police clearance, and medical screening. This raises an important question: How do we track migrants in South Africa? Do we know where they live or what they do? Why can't we implement similar accountability measures, mandatory reporting for international travel, address registration updates, and rigorous vetting processes including qualification verification, police clearance, and medical tests? A transparent, well-documented migration system strengthens both security and integration.

For too long, the poor were taught a terrible inheritance: keep quiet, accept whatever the government hands you, and call it survival. The EFF is in the Western Cape High Court to shatter that legacy. We are demanding that the Finance Minister’s unilateral power to adjust the fuel levy without Parliament be struck down as unconstitutional and oppressive.
The EFF is fighting hard for the ungrateful people. The EFF refuse to say thank you for rising taxi fares, for unaffordable bread, for a fuel levy hiked by one man’s signature while democracy sleeps.

I’ve watched all the news channels in the country to hear what they will say about the Pinetown March and the fact that drugs were found… not even ONE has made mention of the foreigners found with drugs and they did the same thing when we found foreigners with drugs at Point Rd… Kanti what happened for foreigners to have this kind of protection that they are getting in this country????
