2017: Helped raise over $250 million USD for projects at ICO and TGE phases. Featured in NYT Best Seller 'Future Proofing You', from Jay Samit. Ran worlds largest Growth Hacking and Copywriting group, hosted london events and released Growth Hacking Bible - Ace The Game, follow up to best seller the "Secret Sauce" from Austin Alred and Vin Clancy. 2018: Helped launch 3 products that still get used in the space by thousands of users and 6 figures of wallets a month. Protocol isn't sexy but survives and lots of tech in the space is based on what we helped test, ideate and launch. 2019: Settled into a couple of roles to build out friends companies as a side hobby in Web3. whilst also pivoting to more advisorial roles for brands looking to educate their teams on erc721 and how collectibles can be utilised. Panelist, Speaker, Host. 2020: Blew up on Clubhouse and was a lead educator in rooms, moved to Twitter - but got pegged back by a select few gatekeepers that discarded a few of us once they learnt what they needed and passed off the knowledge as their own. People forget you when you don't attend all the glitzy events that those with lots of followers do... 2021: Brought forth the worlds first virtual punk-emo girl-band. Launched digital collectible cards and wearables within metaverses. Presented and produced acts for Decentralands Metaverse Music Festival. A World first. Launch partner on Elynixr, powered by the same tech as Pokemon Go! 2022: Got stuck in VC turmoil ying-yang land where no one would wish to lead any rounds but all wished to enter them... Brought 2nd headliners to DCL MMF again and our own stage. Nominated for dozens of top ai, nft, tech awards across the year. 2023: Got burned and lost over $1million USD on a project that the founder rugged his whole staff/advisory team and community on. Missed invoices, Token distributions not adhered to, lies and deceit, Rock bottom feeling. Girl Band was wrong time, right thing [ insert k-pop demon hunters here ] 2024: Picked myself back up, began deep diving vibe and ai tools, Set out to attempt to launch own product. Kept working on core old projects and commitments that I know will do well, just need a break. 2025: My own Projects in design iterations and moving forward with pilots. Looking for keen time/investment/attention and perhaps people wanting to change up certain industries in a big way. Looking back on that timeline... damnnnn what a story haha So yeah, that's me. 8 years in crypto and boy do I look forward to the next 8! TLDR: Raised over $250M for projects in Web3, always the bridesmaid, never the bride. Now looking to launch something myself after a wild few years to get here!

Ondo Finance
Ondo Finance@OndoFinance·
It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Nathan Allman, Ondo's founder. Our hearts are with his family and loved ones. Nate’s brilliance, humility, and drive shaped every part of what Ondo is today. His belief in the power of technology to create a more open, accessible financial system lives on in everything we build. The impact he had on this industry, and on all of us personally, cannot be overstated. Nate also helped us build a durable organization with experienced leaders across all facets of the business. Ian De Bode, Ondo Finance’s longtime President, will serve as CEO. Ian has been leading our strategy, product, and day-to-day operations for over two years and has the full confidence of the leadership team. We will continue building what Nate started. That is the most meaningful way we know to honor him.

New CursorBench results just dropped. Two big takeaways. Composer 2.5 is way better than most people think. 63.2% score at $0.55 per task. Nearly matching Opus 4.7 Max and GPT 5.5 Extra High at 20x less cost. This is insane value. Gemini 3.5 Flash is #10 at 49.8%. Below GPT 5.5 Low. Below Opus 4.7 Low. Google's newest model can't even beat budget tier competition. Composer 2.5 is the sleeper. Gemini 3.5 Flash is the disappointment.

When Britain lets you build, (as we have mostly done in tech/ AI) then by god we build:
Seb Johnson@SebJohnsonUK

This is genuinely wild. Nearly 50% of all European Venture in 2026 has flown into the UK. Last year was all about Stockholm, and there were high hopes for AI in Paris. The overall view was that the rest of Europe was catching up with the UK. But actually it seems to be pulling away. It’s obviously too early on in the year to call it but there have been multiple large rounds that have helped the UK dominate: > @IsomorphicLabs and its $2.1bn Series B > @nscale and its $2bn Series C > @wayve_ai and its 1.2bn Series D > @IneffableLabs and its $1.1bn Seed > @Recursive_SI and its $650m Seed > @ElevenLabs and its $500m Series D There’s also a chance this will help spin the UK flywheel so that the gap grows even more. The UK is having a phenomenal year in tech. Data from @yoramdw and the @dealroomco team

I spent the last few weeks crowdsourcing the ultimate guide to London’s startup ecosystem. Here's why. Finding your people is a lifelong mission- the people that push you, open doors for you, celebrate your wins, advise you sincerely and say yes to your crazy ideas. It’s one of the reasons people love San Francisco. Everyone is rooting for you and believes in you. There is a sense of wild ambition. But is this something only unique to SF? What is/was London missing? I think it really came down to a few things: - Optimism - A mindset of waiting for permission - Lack of a catalyst Those in the startup world would have felt a shift over the past couple of months that has instilled a renewed sense of optimism for Britain, a mentality of not waiting for anyone’s permission and the catalyst of the AI boom empowering a new generation of builders. And surprisingly, this isn’t new for Britain. We made the jet engine, steam trains, discovered the structure of DNA, discovered gravity and so much more. There was no concept of permission. The UK that exists today has: - Anthropic, OpenAI and DeepMind all opening offices in Kings Cross - Startups raising absurd rounds building generational companies (just 2 days ago Fractile raised a $220m Series B) - Unmatched talent being pulled in from Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Warwick, Kings and even European universities like ETH So how can someone get involved and how can we level the playing field for those outside the startup ecosystem? The guide friends and I created below is our small role in helping democratise some of the obscure information on the inner workings of London’s startup scene. Read it, add to it, check it regularly and most importantly, do something with it. I hope this guide helps people for years to come. Can’t wait to see what we do on top of all the infrastructure built by those before us. We’re truly standing on the shoulders of giants. 🔥 Link in comments.

This week more money was raised by European startups than most months last year. It was a truly insane week: > @HelsingAI is raising $1.2bn valued at a $18bn valuation > @nscale raised $790m of debt > @n8n_io saw its valuation double to $5.2bn > @SuzanneAshman joined @UKSovereignAI as MP > @IsomorphicLabs raised $2.1bn > @Recursive_SI raised $650m at a $4.65bn valuation > @fractile_ai raised a $220m series B > Multiverse raised $70m at a $2.1bn valuation + so many more smaller rounds. LETS GO

I’ve always believed the No.1 application of AI should be to improve human health. That work started with AlphaFold, and now at @IsomorphicLabs with the mission to reimagine drug discovery and one day solve all disease! We are turbocharging that goal with $2.1B in new funding.

Just came back from a week in New York and anyone who thinks it is a better city than London needs to get their head checked: > Literally 0 pubs. I went in to what I thought was a pub, only to disover it was a jazz bar serving Korean food? Everyone knows that pies and thai food are the only acceptable cuisines in drinking establishments. > Only one park in the whole of New York and its not even a Royal Park. > Couldn't find a single building older than 400 years old. Not one castle. Literally where are they? Very strange. > No sun even when sunny. Buildings too tall and block out the light > Pizza is sold by the slice. I would say a big shout out to the pigeons of NYC. Those birds are HEALTHY. In Trafalgar Square there's one leg for every three pigeons.

Last year I quit my job. I had a 1 year old, a 2 year old and a pregnant wife. But now, at last, my decision has been vindicated. Being made a LinkedIn Top Voice is the pinnacle of my career. The doors that are about to be open up for me, the opportunities that are going to reveal themselves, the people who will want to be my friend. Unfathomable. Feeling truly blessed.

Every time I ask an AI researcher if they are bullish on British talent, they say that – despite all the headlines about new offices and expansions – all the best researchers they know are leaving the country (unless they have families here). I genuinely don't know if this is leaky X vibes or something the data would bear out. Sadly we have few good ways to track top-talent migration in or out of the country.

hot take, but the next great UK startups won't pitch themselves as "the UK version of (US company)." they'll be the first version of something the US hasn't built yet.

Yo @Skyscanner , just a heads up... Your new sponsor @kiwicom247 attaches random email addresses to flight booking information so when you try to log in it seems like some random person has hijacked your booking. Example - booked through Kiwi, steveo****@*******z. com email was attached to my booking on the @vueling site and MohammedF****@gmail. com was attached to my daughters booking. Apparently this is ok and safe for me to put our Passport details into 😂 Just going to check-in at the airport.
