I'd like to put it on the record that no matter the final score of the Orange Bowl, Florida State should've been in the CFP, and Georgia is the best team in the country. Which is why the "deserving vs best" argument holds no weight with the four teams chosen.

Hope the Playoff Committee is proud. Florida St deserved so much better after winning all 13 of its games and a Power 5 conference title game by multiple scores. NY6 games have been a tire fire.

The only LOSER in today’s @CFBPlayoff was the Committee and its Rights Holder @espn. Lemme be clear the Network didn’t do this to CFB! They did support what the Committee did. However, opinions have influence, but nothing more. The Committee made the choice! Not @KirkHerbstreit or anyone in a suit at the Network. CFB’s post season is badly broken and MUST Change! My opinions were contrary to Kirk’s and most others in Bristol. That said, it’s up to those more powerful than any announcer at any Network to FIX! A 20 rating for the @rosebowlgame won’t solve CFB’s bigger issues. Its credibility and integrity are at stake moving forward. I love the game. I want it to grow, and I’ll likely only watch its future just like you the FAN!

Florida State had nine of its best players opt out of this game because of the NFL draft, and 16 others are transferring, but by all means draw DEFINITIVE conclusions based on what happened today as opposed to all season.

Not for this game. But for anyone saying this would have been a preview of what FSU would have done in the playoffs is wrong. None of those FSU players opt out had the committee chose them for the 4th spot.

The product you see on the field in this Georgia vs Florida State game is a direct representation of what you get when a team gets snubbed from the CFP and you tell the kids the games they play don’t matter. Opt-outs ruined the game.
