@davemeltzerWON People don't refuse to lose in WWE. They have a healthy fear & respect for the people in charge. People do what they want in AEW. It's disingenous to pretend that's not on Tony. You have no problem assigning the blame for inmates running the WCW asylum to @ericbischoff.

You can fire him. But that encourages WWE to tell people in AEW to refuse to lose, and encourages talent if they know they have a WWE offer to have a way out. Or you can not use them. Or you can release them which accmplishes the same thing the first scenario does.

My biggest complaint when it was brought up to me a few days ago that MJF would be in the Worlds End title match was that it was so out of character for MJF to put himself in this situation.
