Respectfully, I don't think you're getting it, or at least getting Joe. And I understand because it is somewhat of a paradigm shift. What you are calling "platforming" is influenced by the old paradigm, which said that aa person didn't deserve to be heard unless they were credentialed in some way that the masses would "accept". What Joe has done is shifted the paradigm. He is having a long form conversation with someone whom HE finds interesting. He could care less what the masses think. Frankly, at least half of his guests, I've never heard of. He doesn't care. It's his podcast, and he's going to talk to who HE wants to. If you truly wanted to get a better understanding of what makes Joe tick, you would simply ask him, what made you find X interesting? Then he would reveal that to you (maybe). And in a long-form conversation, the topics can go anywhere. He is not going to limit a conversation because his guest is not degreed, certified, or whatever other stamp of approval, in the mind of others, would make them "qualified" to speak. If you feel that the growth of his platform should cause him to reconsider what topics are covered, and by whom, maybe you could suggest that to him. However, he didn't get to this point by following the old paradigm. He may have singlehandedly forced the new paradigm on everyone. And if he changed, he wouldn't be Joe. My guess is that he would lose his audience. So I'm not sure anyone is in a position to tell him what he "should" do with his platform.

Im gonna put this in Joe Rogan language so .@joerogan understands what Douglas Murray was saying about “experts” being on your show. If you started platforming a bunch of white belts who were really popular on social media to talk about JuJitsu techniques on your podcast because they’re “interesting”, and you sat there and agreed with them the whole time even though they were saying a bunch of made up bullshit about jujitsu, you would lose credibility. That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be able to train, it just means maybe you should be platforming black belts instead.
