I haven’t stopped anyone on the street for a portrait in a while, but I couldn’t let this young lady pass by without asking. She turned out to be quite camera shy, but somehow a natural in front of the camera. I find much more fulfillment in these spontaneous shoots. The surprise in the person when I ask to take a photo of them. (they usually think I’m waiting for a celebrity…smh.) The reluctance because they don’t have time to prepare… lol. The joy when they see the outcome.
