Languages Day 2024 🇯🇵 We have had a great afternoon in Year 2. We have enjoyed learning about Japan, making a Japanese flag and we even made a cat using origami.

Tomorrow, Thursday 26th September, we will be celebrating ‘Languages Day’. An opportunity to raise awareness about language learning and linguistic diversity! The children will be exploring different countries and completing a range of fun activities in celebration of this event

Today in DT, we have been working on our sewing skills! Firstly, we used the threading card, then progressed to using the running stitch on the binca.

Just a polite reminder about Languages Day on Thursday 26th September. The children in Year 2 will be learning about Japan and can wear red and white clothing on that day.

Today in English, we have been planning our recount about Paddington’s visit to the palace.
