@tysondrake @TaylorHoliday Hi- these metrics can mean both attention and in-attention. Thumb stop can easily unbearable distraction from another device or person as it can be interest in content. That’s why many attention proxies don’t work- they fail to take the human into account.

Does anyone have any research that validates that “creative metrics” like (thumb stop, CTR, engagement, etc) have ANY RELATIONSHIP to financial performance? I’d love to read it. Pretty close to tossing out all language related to these measures.
