Srilanka does deserve a praise. To begin with they don’t have the social problems we have, they did not have a socialist mindset for 60 years and def not the size as we are whether geographically or population wise. Our nation has everything, mindset is what we lack. And a good mindset doesn’t come out of poverty. All the civic sense mindset is only amongst well to do urban folk or people with deep cultural roots who don’t even realize they have it. Remove poverty and you’ll see us beating Singapore in terms of neatness in no time.

Buddy please lets not get into those indexes, some random NGO sitting in Europe’s cold calling up 1500 people from a nation of 1.4b, asking them some questions and publishing that study calling it an index is the worst form of journalism. Bangladesh and Pakistan ahead of us in some hunger or happiness index, bloody Qatar ahead of us in journalism index!! In front of a multimillenial civilisation, these studies are mere punctuations. Japan is already run over by radicals, so is EU and particularly UK. We lost Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Srilanka in front of our eyes. Population growth is the cornerstone of a surviving region. Nothing else matters.

Two points - - You say that Japan and China are under crisis. I still see them having higher happiness index, better human development and prosperity. Only those analysts who believe that lower population is bad are the ones who think they are in crisis. - Have you run any analysis about what will be our population 500 years from now if fertility rate declines like it is happening now? Our civilization is not ceasing to exist anytime soon and we should stop worrying about it.

I really despise people who are well educated and still believe that declining fertility rate is a challenge for India! We had a perfessor in our social science class who while writing root causes for various problems (poverty, pollution, illiteracy rate) always had one additional bullet point - overpopulation! He used to say - Population is the mother of all problems! It's high time we understand & accept that India doesn't have the capacity, infrastructure, resources, skill and will to manage such a large population which will continue to grow for at least a decade even with declining fertility rates. Cities are congested, tourists spots are crowded, airports & railways are working at capacity, we never have sufficient quality schools and hospitals to cater to the demand! Several studies have repeatedly shown that countries became prosperous when they controlled their population. And yet when the topic comes of declining fertility rates, we are quick to worry about getting old!

@vibs98 Unfortunately career growth is defined by designations and not by the impact or quality of work. So its either money or position. Any position is the easy choice for most employers.

@KSAbhilash Possibly a balance. I don’t fully agree with Nvidia 50 DRI to the CEO or 14/16 levels in MBB. Maybe 3/4 levels but that’s about it

Indexes published by some random NGO sitting in Europe on a country of 1.4b by interviewing 1500 people, asking them some very biased questions should be very legit 🔥. Dictatorship nations and Monarchies where there is no permit to operate private media houses eg. Qatar are ranked above us. Bangladesh and Pakistan are ranked above us in some other hunger or happiness index. Brainwashing is real.

Instead of asking why opposition leader hasn’t supported CJP, or why every CJP team member isn’t on a hunger strike alongside Sonam sir, ask the questions that actually matter. Why is the Prime Minister refusing to engage in a dialogue? Why is the Education Minister still not being held accountable? These are the questions that deserve answers, not distractions that only help shield those in power from accountability.

Accountability should follow with a clear plan. Simply resigning and then getting someone else while the issue persists isn’t a good move. Thise days of perpetual protests are gone. The sooner Dipke realises this it’s better for his group to hold on to whatever garbage credibility they have within the left brigade.

So what if Dhamedra Pradhan resigns? How are you sure that the next guy will not do the same mistakes? Whats your 10 point agenda to reform the examination process? Did you work on those? Absolutely not. Cz that would make the whole thing real. And you’ll have to be prepared to appear in real debates. Instead ‘Dhamendra Pradhan Istifa do’ makes a good case for your protest economy.

True but paper leaks aren’t a one off incident in our country’s history. Something is systematically wrong with the way exams are managed under any minister or any government. The agenda of a national level protest attended by celebrity activists demanding PM’s attention cannot be for one resignation. There needs to be a new forward, or else no one is going to find a connect with this activity.

@KSAbhilash Bhai if an employee fucks up in a company badly, you fire him. Simple. You don't think ki what if their replacement also screws. People should be held accountable. Ministers are noone but employees of this country.

Dear Sonam Wangchuk, You need to understand one thing. A hunger strike does not move an establishment because of morality. It moves an establishment only when it fears the political consequences of your death. If your death can trigger mass protests, riots, or a law and order crisis, the government has an incentive to negotiate or accept the demand. Because in that case, stability becomes more important than ego. That is why Congress gave in to Anna Hazare. That is why the British bowed down to Mahatma Gandhi. Both of them had massive public support. Hunger strike was never the source of power. The people were. Now look at Jantar Mantar. Right wing does not support you for obvious reasons. Congress has not extended its support to your protest either. All you have are left liberals and Arvind Kejriwal, who himself is irrelevant in Indian politics today. Even I want Dharmendra Pradhan to resign. Millions like me, who ideologically supports BJP, want him to resign too. But this protest will not achieve that. Modi cannot take a hit on his image that he was moved by your protest. Because even if you die, government fear no political consequence. Whether that is morally right or wrong is irrelevant. That is how power works. If you had remained politically independent, many more people could have stood with you. The issue you picked is legitimate. Maybe you are a man with good intentions. But the people you chose to stand with have zero credibility. All they have is some Instagram followers. Your health is deteriorating. There are not even 100 people standing with you at Jantar Mantar. Please decide for yourself.

@marinebharat , simplifying the controversy for everyone, if the car manufacturers are so confident just voluntarily stick those e20 stickers on fuel caps of older cars when those cars go in for service. That will put the companies in direct line of liability and can be dragged to court if the vehicle’s performance does not match the sticker. All other lengthy reports and documents are just jargon that a layman will never be able to read through and comprehend. What say?

Few conclusion from Ethanol rant 1️⃣ E20 Fuel gives 2% - 6% less mileage for older 4 wheeler vehicles as claimed by ARAI, SIAM, NITI Aayog 2️⃣ XP100 or Speed100 which costs ₹50 more gives 2% more mileage 3️⃣ No major impact on 2 wheelers 4️⃣ Average depends on several factors and not just Ethanol 5️⃣ Extensive research by established institute will establish Ethanol as a norm 6️⃣ E85 or E100 coming soon 7️⃣ Flex Fuel engines will be mandatory and low cost Ethanol Fuel Conversion Kits will be available as low as ₹15,000 8️⃣ Paid Tweet gang getting active benefits from creating hysteria. They will be crushed by OMC Marketing budgets 9️⃣ Ethanol may damage few parts after 15-20 years. These parts are cheap. So irrelevant. 🔟 Users of European brands are crying more than Japanese, Korean or Indian brands

@volklub xp100’s market share has gone up exponentially while flex fuel vehicles are getting ready for the market. That’s the end game. Now the only real question remains - Have Ethanol / Sugar plant owners diverted part of their revenue to farmers supplying raw materials for ethanol? Or are they still procuring at older prices while middle men make money?

@virsanghvi you clearly underestimate the anger and frustration people had at that time. After scams worth lakhs of crores named after every alphabet, couple that with blasts in major Indian cities every fortnight, people were furious back then. Add to that, the opposition led by leaders like Sushma swaraj, Modi, Rajnath etc was so lethal that people actually saw hope after a long long time. What’s missing this time? Anger. Cz people are mostly content with the way our nation is run. No major scams. Pakistan is shown its place. #NEET to begin with was a horrible idea. Let alone the way it was managed from the last 4 years. But will that attract anna andolan level attention? Only time will tell. Modi govt as much as it is known for asserting its policies, it is also known for backtracking if it effects it’s popularity.

@Iyervval These roaches are practically masters of prolonged protest economy and know very well how to stay on its payroll for as long as possible. Case in point - Yogendra Yadav, Medha Patkar, Arundhati Roy. Appease one side just enough to get minimum support, irritate the other side just enough to get adequate hate to project themselves as rebels. This bureaucratic career activism is what is rotting EU and western US. These guys want to bring that model to India now. Soros’ wet dream.

@siddharth_iitm Our perpetual state of inferiority complex combined with low confidence has still not gone. No matter what we achieve, we are told to stay below the radar. Socially i’d say we are a jealous society. Anything being flaunted doesn’t go well with us. Outsiders know this fact very well to a point they are used to ridiculing us just to connect with us since we agree with any foreign point of view. No wonder we’ve got hundreds of foreign reaction channels simply watching an Indian video and aligning their facial expressions and minting views. We need to back ourselves and begin promoting ourselves. We definitely have a long way before becoming even close to being perfect. But not everything we own or do is bad.

Now that India has started building large and beautiful airports, you would see a lot of people ridiculing even it with arguments like - Airports should be small and efficient - It isn't supposed to be a shopping mall While the aesthetic buildings in other countries are deeply appreciated. The most absurd argument you would see - Airports are only for rich and only 2-3% of people use it. Remember Indians, anything that's good in India is because you are rich and have exploited poor! Don't be surprised that even this will become a caste and exploitation issue!
