@JPacCantin Thanks for the heads up will be checking this out - liking the aesthetics - vines of a vintage era version of Kanban EV.
(Though that one is heavy and longer duration with aspects of hand management.)
English

@FantasiaGames_ to revamp Colosseum - given their recent #boardgames this'll be a great production
Best is @JPacCantin to bring his fresh take via the standalone Ave Titus! A collab with legend Wolfgang Kramer, Jonny's really hit his stride and deserves every moment! ⚔️🏟️👍

English

@headcraftedpix @GameMinimalist @JPacCantin It's a classic and currently on GameFound as an add-on with it's new expansion...

English

@GameMinimalist You should try A Fistful of Meeples boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2776… from @JPacCantin
English

@erik_a_sunden Game pitch: Mandala mancala ! You start the spiritual journey outer-edge of the board but work inwards to you core moving from pit to pit.
English

ManCala. Damn you, autocorrect!
Erik A Sundén is working on his games@erik_a_sunden
What boardgames uses the mandala in a beneficial way? Why do you like it?
English

@erik_a_sunden Hands down: A Fistful of Meeples by @JPacCantin
The classic mancala we instantly know, but adds depth with worker placement in your selections and brings side hustles that build into a great western theme.
Small & portable
Easy ruleset
Total replayability
Damn fun!

@allcopymel Check out how it plays, it's basically Cluedo meets Dixit...
Olden but golden!
The ghost player sends visions by handing out artwork which somehow represents each element of the murder. Great co op game and stunning artwork too very thematic!

@allcopymel They had Uk exclusivity on it but Zatu always a good go to if you want 3 or more games as you get the 3% off which evens out the added p&p.
English

@allcopymel Even cheaper and already available in time for your birthday...

And who doesn't want a box of chocolates on their birthday 😉
English

@allcopymel We've had kids age 7 playing OG Azul fine, like anyone just takes a few games to pick it up and they're off.
For younger players however a good list could be:
Quacks
Cubitos (like Quacks)
Mysterium (Cluedo 2.0)
Micro Macro Crime City (where's waldo meets who dunnit)
English

@allcopymel That said if you havent tried OG Azul you should, but get Master Chocalatier edition.
It's the same game but comes with more modules and a more thematic aesthetic.
(Queens Garden however is a different beast altogether.)
English

@allcopymel Well, of the variations it's the most evolved & more thinky.
Plus it's the most recent so more likely of your group you'll have the only copy; not to say base OG Azul isn't great but most groups tend to have a few copies so why not bring something a bit fresh and challenging?
English

@allcopymel A list of varied play styles...
Azul (Queens Garden)
Quacks
Villainous
Dice Forge
Sorcerors City (aspects of Carcassonne)
Tidal Blades
Santorini (new version launching tomorrow)
Mysterium
Museum
English

@werenotwizards Rebellion adds some nice modules to change it up a bit.
Still a great game in its own right, but if you do want to add some variance give it a try, it literally adds a new dimension with a subterranean labyrinth
