This has been one of the most pleasant starts to July in years! And it looks to continue for the next week. Not hot, not cold—just right. A certain girl who befriended bears 🐻would be impressed.

BREAKING: A new brush fire in Vantage, WA. WSDOT: both directions of I-90 is closed for what appears to be a wildfire on the Kittitas County side of the Columbia River. There is currently a Level 3 GO NOW evacuation for Vantage issued by the Kittitas County Sheriff's Office.

Thunder boomed constantly from late July 2-3, 2008. And then the Zombie Sonics announced their new name weeks later …

Ironically, one of Seattle’s strongest thunderstorm outbreaks in a decade began the night the Sonics bolted for OKC. Coincidence?
