Eight years in, under the steady leadership of @KennethMuhangi this platform has grown organically into a go-to space for meaningful partnerships, policy and law reform advocacy, and innovation. We are deeply grateful to God, our event Partners, the CELPii team, @ktaadvocates, our sponsors, speakers and everyone who has stood with us on this journey. The call: We must rethink how creative work is valued and funded. Inclusive metrics, context-sensitive funding, and recognition of local processes can unlock Uganda’s creative economy. #KTASymposium2025

Western funding models often don’t fit Uganda’s creative context. Local realities, seasonal cycles, and informal processes must be considered. Language gaps between creatives & funders also hinder support. #KTASymposium2025
