They have become a national industrial priority, backed by politicians, utilities, foreign capital, tech companies, and infrastructure policy. Once something becomes a national priority, local consent becomes secondary. They’re not ignoring you because they can’t hear you. They’re ignoring you because it’s already been decided.

For dér fjernede han hele den fortælling, som Lars Løkke konstant forsøger at sælge: At det “handler om noget, ikke om nogen”. Messerschmidt sagde i praksis: Fint. Så parkerer jeg min ministerdrøm, hvis du parkerer din. For hvis det virkelig handlede om “noget”, burde Løkke jo have været åben for en model, hvor blå blok kunne få magten uden hverken DF eller Moderaterne i regering. Men det var han ikke. Tværtimod reagerede han nærmest fornærmet (se klippet oven for) og afviste det kategorisk. Derfor synes jeg også, det bliver stadig sværere at opretholde fortællingen om Moderaterne som et klassisk idéparti. Partiet handler i meget høj grad om Lars Løkke Rasmussen selv og hans position i dansk politik. Samtidig har Messerschmidt gjort noget meget vigtigt kommunikativt: Han har vist kompromisvilje. Han har tilbudt en løsning. Han har vist, at han faktisk ønsker en blå regering. Derfor tror jeg også, han står stærkere i vælgernes øjne, end mange inde på Christiansborg forestiller sig. For hvis V, K, LA og DD nu ender med at sige, at de “desværre” ikke kan arbejde sammen med Socialdemokratiet, så vil mange borgerlige vælgere med rette spørge … hvorfor egentlig ikke? Den psykologiske barriere er jo allerede brudt. Venstre har allerede regeret med Socialdemokratiet. Det, der før virkede fuldstændig utænkeligt, er nu præcedens. Derfor er endnu en bred regering heller ikke nær så kontroversiel internt, som mange politiske kommentatorer stadig taler som om, den er. -------------------------- ▶︎ Begrænset forestillingsevne ◀︎ Forestillingsevnen i det danske kommentariat er generelt meget begrænset, fordi de primært er optaget af spillet og personfnidder og ikke af substansen. Og ingen af de danske analytikere tillægger danske toppolitikere nogen reel politisk ambition andet end at få magten. Derfor ser de ikke den mulighed, jeg mener bliver virkelighed om lidt. For kommentariatet overser efter min mening noget helt afgørende: På udlændingepolitikken deler Socialdemokratiet, DF, DD, Venstre og store dele af Konservative reelt langt mere projekt med hinanden, end de gør med Lars Løkke Rasmussen og Moderaterne. Det er alfa og omega. For DF og DD handler politik ikke primært om ministerbiler og taburetter. Det handler om kursen i udlændingepolitikken, national suverænitet og den generelle retning for Danmark. Mange af deres vælgere oplever Moderaterne som det stik modsatte af dét projekt. ----- 👉 LÆS, LYT & SE også: Derfor bør du lytte til en homoseksuel, anti-woke socialdemokrats analyse af regeringssituationen gaydissent.substack.com/p/derfor-br-du… ----- ▶︎ "Hvad vil du helst - og nu *skal* du sige det ..." ◀︎ Dermed bliver spørgsmålet pludselig meget brutalt for Blå Blok: Vil man virkelig hellere lade en rød-lilla konstruktion med Moderaterne i centrum ske, end man vil føre reel blå politik i et bredt samarbejde med Socialdemokratiet? Det er dér, jeg synes mandat-matematikken og magtlogikken peger i en helt anden retning end mange kommentatorer stadig forestiller sig. For måske er den mest logiske måde for Blå Blok at neutralisere Moderaterne på netop at gå i regering med Socialdemokratiet. Ikke fordi partierne elsker hinanden. Men fordi de efterhånden deler mere reel stats- og udlændingepolitisk substans med hinanden, end de gør med Lars Løkkes projekt. Og Troels Lunds formuleringer i dag er faktisk bemærkelsesværdigt åbne. Han afviser konsekvent ikke endnu en omgang med Socialdemokratiet. Han siger blot, at “det politiske grundlag må på plads først”. Det er ikke et nej. Det er klassisk dansk forhandlingssprog for: “Døren står stadig på klem.” Og den står på klem for parter, der ikke er fremmede overfor hinanden. Tværtimod er det to partier, der har arbejdet tæt og godt sammen de sidste fire år på Christiansborg.
