A food bank in Canada has decided it will be turning away international students, citing a distinct lack of resources and “abuse” of the system.
It recently put up a message, written on a whiteboard, saying “Do not enter food bank: NO international students service, government regulations” outside the food bank’s door.
“It’s all these young kids with backpacks saying they want help & they’re just raiding everything they can, and we can’t handle that,” Catherine Rivera, who represents the Centre, said in an interview with local news.
“Everyone’s running out of food.”
Same is happening in Australia & across the West.

@arielhelwani I have no interest in watching women fight this is so sad.

@SoundDobad You can't get away from Nigerians and Indians on the internet

@JudyStroyer41 It actually makes perfect sense why people from Illinois are sending their kids to southern schools.

This might be the most disgusting image I’ve ever seen. The pristine, hard work of White men being overrun by ugly, brown, sweaty Indians. A once great American university is now the poster child for The Great Replacement. Shlomo is rubbing his hands together. #IowaIllinois

@jxlewxii @FootsDaKing You wouldn't spend a top 20 pick on a 193 lb scrappy go getter that can't cover. Please.
English

@KTgradAUTT @FootsDaKing I don’t mind any of that tbh. Green flags for competitiveness, operating like a business man in unprecedented NIL landscape, realizing his place (nickel), & managing to produce at another big time program.
English

@FootsDaKing He played at Auburn 2 years before Miami. Year 1 he was a slot player and nickle guy. Good just like he was at Miami. Year 2 he basically held out in NIL/portal to play corner and he was exposed so bad that he was a huge negative. He went back to being a box guy at MIA. Red flags

Potential top-50 nickel cornerback Keionte Scott is in Frisco today for a 30 visit
Jordan Reid@Jordan_Reid
The Cowboys are hosting former Miami CB Keionte Scott on a visit today, per source. Dallas has a need at CB and they’re doing extra work on one of the best nickel defenders in this years class.

@BonoEstente @iris_seraphina @AaronWorthing Look at this smug jackass lawyer. He already knew that the corrupt trash woman Judge was bullying the other lawyer who was in his rights to defend his client.

@ahchoen @nikitabier @Antunes1 The fact that you think this because you won't get paid to talk about American politics says to me this is the right policy
English

@nikitabier @Antunes1 So X is not a global town square after all. "Foreigners should shut up and stay away" is now the official policy

Starting Thursday, we'll be updating our revenue sharing incentives to better reward the content we want on X:
We will be giving more weight to impressions from your home region—to encourage content that resonates with people in your country, in neighboring countries and people who speak your language.
While we appreciate everyone's opinion on American politics, we hope this will disincentivize gaming the attention of US or Japanese accounts and instead, drive diverse conversations on the platform.
We invite creators to start building an audience locally. X will be a much richer community when there's relevant posts for people in all parts of the world.

Nikita Bier says Creator Payouts will now be affected by the user’s location.
But told me personally I wouldn’t get paid at all: “We won’t send you money overseas.”
Why is a regular user being targeted like this?
I just think this change raises many issues:
- What about US citizens living abroad?
(many are full time X creators)
- What about legitimate international creators?
- Users from countries with little user base?
(Vatican, 800 people; Andorra, 80k, etc.)
- International full time X creators?
Why should an account like mine not be paid at all while delivering over 100M impressions a month? Because the Head of Product doesn’t like me?
I think @elonmusk should look into this.
There are smarter ways to deal with ‘foreign interference’ from 3rd world countries.
I was suspended within minutes of respectfully commenting about Nikita, then unbanned by Elon Musk himself. Hope it doesn’t happen again.
Just my opinion, respectfully.

@AryePulliNFL If you spend a first round pick on this guy you are an idiot

@TheLandoShow Dallas isn't going to pay Pickens like these guys and they shouldn't.

JSN’s contract extension & impact on George Pickens💭
The extension at 4 yrs $168M averages $42M APY
But much like the Puka Nacua discussion we had with his reported extension, the remaining rookie contract year(s) must be accounted for.
JSN still had a 4th year left on his rookie contract valued at ~$5M and with the 5th year option valued at ~$23M also factored in, that makes his NEW CONTRACT VALUE come out to:
6 years $196M with $145M in total guarantees
Which = $32.5M APY….. perfectly coinciding with George Pickens average of $31M on the tag over the next two years.
Once again, the APY for George Pickens is somewhere in the $33M-$35M APY range.

ESPN Sources: Offensive Player of the Year and Super-Bowl champion Jaxon Smith-Njigba reached agreement with the Seattle Seahawks on a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension that now makes him the highest-paid WR in NFL history. The deal averages $42.15 million per year, and includes over $120 million guaranteed, both setting records for any wide receiver. The deal was confirmed by @WINSportsGroup.
