@WPGMurat Arniel didn’t say it so I will. Any player who can’t get himself motivated for a game like this….GET THE f*ck out of the locker room.

Israel is so insane it’s making Kim Jong Un sound based.

The teenage girl at the thrift store was crying in the dressing room. Heard her through the door. Quiet sobs she was trying to muffle. The attendant looked uncomfortable. Didn’t know what to do. Knocked softly. “You okay in there, honey?” Silence. Then. “I have a job interview tomorrow. First real job. I need something nice to wear. But everything here that fits costs more than I have.” Her voice cracked. “I only have twelve dollars.”
Told her to stay put. Went through the racks. Found a
blazer. Barely worn. Eight dollars. Nice blouse. Four dollars. Decent pants. Five dollars. Seventeen total. Bought all three. Brought them to her door. “Try these.” Silence. Then the lock clicked. Door opened a crack. She looked at the clothes. At me. “I can’t afford” “Early birthday present. From a stranger who believes you’re going to nail that interview.”
She took them.
Tried them on. Came out looking completely different. Professional. Confident. Stood straighter. She stared at herself in the mirror like she was seeing someone new. “I look… I look like I belong there.” “You do belong there. Now go show them that tomorrow.”
She hugged me. Hard. Unexpected. “Nobody’s ever…” She couldn’t finish. Just held on for a second longer. Then pulled back. Wiping her eyes. Smiling.
Saw her three weeks later... Same thrift store. She was buying clothes for work. Had money this time. Saw me. Ran over. “I got the job! Retail manager trainee. I start full time next month!” Still wearing that blazer.
Seventeen dollars. Sometimes that’s all it takes to help someone see their own worth.

@MUKIDEZA2 I shower every morning. Baths are for relaxing in the evening, not for getting clean.
