Star Trek shouldn't be trying to emulate other sci-fi/fantasy shows. It should be setting the standard for other shows. But NuTrek writers continue to be influenced by Buffy & Angel. First, there was a musical episode inspired by Buffy, now a puppet episode, inspired by Angel
