Working in public healthcare is hard. You know the care people deserve, but the system limits what you can actually do. You keep working, but it still shapes every patient outcome and that gap is heavy. Ai

I hate that I am now chasing towards goals but also not unsure about those goals because systemically there is too much to handle.

They told us to study hard, work smart, and the future would be ours. But 8.1 million of us are sitting with qualifications, dreams, and CVs that collect dust while the unemployment rate keeps climbing. We’re not lazy we’re locked out. And if 301,000 jobs can vanish in 3 months, you start to realize: waiting for the system to save you is the fastest way to stay stuck. The future won’t be handed to us. We have to build it ourselves, even if we have to start from zero

Why in the public health care sector people are so angry. I understand the system has got us under a chokehold mara just being decent, patient and having compassionate listening towards a healthcare professional also your colleagues its not a bad thing. Its okay to be kind.

@MelaninGarcon At this rate I am not sure how long I am going to keep up with having to believe this. Is true love even a real concept in real life?

My child doesn’t come from generational wealth, there is no way he’s gonna study TV & Film and the likes. I’m not a gentle mom in that regard. 😭😭✋🏾

You tried so hard to make sense, but your retarded brain couldn't let you. You want her to have messy hair in this outfit, or you hate how they can snatch their waist so easily Or is it how they always look good and fashionable that is pissing you off? You really need to pick a battle fr Cause this isn't it

@Jacksonsrule I am currently convincing myself that it was all worth. I just want a peaceful life, workout, have family around me and not give my full 8 hours to a job which I can be easily replaced. Have garden and a roof over my head. The titles I am not sure if I want them anymore.

Call it a millennial crisis if you want. But in my 30's, I realized l don't actually want the life I worked so hard for. I don't care about titles. I don't care about climbing anyone else's ladder. I care about time. I care about slow mornings. I care about peace. I care about bare feet at the beach with nowhere to be. I still want to make money.. just not at the cost of my life.

@KhomotsoKD This is a very shortsighted approach to parenting because children will eventually do whatever they want, especially once they are old enough to live on their own

@Ntando_mos @Kgethi_Liphoko That's why I also believe in homeschooling. I want my child to explore her/his identity without no bounds of conformity culture caused by going to primary and high school

You leave high school and suddenly almost everyone is growing their hair out, experimenting with identity, and reclaiming individuality. It makes you question how much of it was really about “discipline” versus control and conformity. There’s something psychologically unsettling about teaching black girls from such a young age that parts of their appearance must constantly be reduced, hidden or managed to be considered acceptable. Then years later, in varsity and adulthood, many spend time trying to rediscover the very identity they were forced to suppress.

If I'm being honest, half the things I went through are in fact because of me, my lack of discipline, not listening to my gut feelings, and my poor decision-making.
