Movements toward diplomatic diversification are advancing among US allies. What possibilities are presented by various minilateral frameworks? The Dynamics of the “Coalition of the Willing” in the Indo-Pacific By KOGA Kei japanpolicyforum.jp/topics/diploma…

This afternoon, we welcomed Dr. Kei Koga (@K__2010) for a presentation of his new book, Japan's Grand Strategy: Liminal Power in an Uncertain World. In a moderated discussion with APF Canada's Jeehye Kim, he discussed #Japan’s role within an evolving regional order, its strategic thinking or 'grand strategy' throughout its many political eras, and the nation's policy trajectory in the #IndoPacific.

💡 Inspired by thought-provoking insights from the @fpcindo–@GRIPS_English Joint Seminar in #Jakarta! Leading Japanese researchers on regional issues, Prof Shinoda Kunihiko of GRIPS, Prof Kikuchi Tsutomu of @AoyamaGakuinU, and Prof Koga Kei of @NTUsg provided insightful remarks on the FPCI-GRIPS joint research titled "Indo-Pacific's Dynamic Duo of Resilience: Mapping 🇮🇩-🇯🇵 Convergences, Divergences, and Strategic Alignment".
