I paid a plumbing company $4,400 to replace a sewer line under my garage, and now my garage floor looks like it lost a fight with a sidewalk 😭
They cut a huge section out of the concrete, repaired the pipe, and patched it back in with concrete that doesn’t even remotely match the original floor.
So I asked the foreman when they planned to stain or finish it so it would blend in better…
And this man literally laughed and said:
“It’s a garage floor, buddy, not the Taj Mahal. Be glad it’s not dirt.” 💀
BE GLAD IT’S NOT DIRT??
I’m sorry, but if I’m paying thousands of dollars for a “professional” repair, I feel like the end result shouldn’t look like a random parking lot patch job.
Now I’m sitting here wondering if this just tanked the appearance — and possibly the resale value — of my garage.
Would you push back and demand they resurface the area properly, or am I overreacting?

@jimiuorio @BBGreatMoments Ryan's strikeout record is like at .1%, then.
English

@BBGreatMoments There is only one record that has a 0.0 chance of ever being broken…cy young’s complete game record…no one will ever get to half the number…

@Kabliga @FeralHeather "But they don't actually learn how to use them."
Correct.
We think we gave them a tool. They think we gave them a toy.
English

100%. I was a huge proponent of laptops in schools because I assumed kids would learn how to use the laptops. But they don't actually learn how to use them. They open an app they type in it it auto saves they are done. They're not learning how computers work at all which was my reason for wanting them to have them. Heck they're not even doing typing class anymore. They can't type, and they can't problem solve. If autosave is turned off when they turn that laptop off they will lose everything and have no idea why. I've seen kids with chromebooks, windows, and mac, literally restart their computer for zero reason whatsoever because they don't know what else to do except start at the beginning if anything goes wrong whatsoever.

90% of students don’t even know how to open or save a Word document when they come to my class, let alone format text. “Digital native” generation is tech illiterate & Grandma Luddite Heather must teach them the ancient ways

There are college students putting "Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint" on their resumes lmao

@urmotheraisha @korrathetaymi @yusufmaxxing Sure sure sure. Weird that nobody seems to ever do it, then.
English

@KadyMuhammad1 @korrathetaymi @yusufmaxxing the fact that u used a bad word before me shows the exact opposite lol
her arguments are easy to refute just like the quran itself

Christians often critique Muslims when pointing out passages in the OT&NT about the prophet Mohammed ﷺ because we “cherry pick”. If that is not an acceptable standard of prophecy, why does Matthew himself “cherry pick” Hosea to FORCE Biblical Jesus to fulfill messianic prophecy when the very next verse in Hosea states this son sacrifices to BAAL?!?! Christians, what’s up with the hypocrisy? 🤐

@EastonJ8 @NateBossDon464 @Sofia50020Sofia "Europe isn’t experiencing bombings & terror threats weekly"
They may be, but that has nothing to do with "banning Sharia" and the "sharia tribunals" that don't exist.
That's because Europe did a shitty job of vetting immigrants.
The US, OTOH does a VERY good job of it.
English

@NateBossDon464 @Sofia50020Sofia Right…Europe isn’t experiencing bombings & terror threats weekly, or over 800% increase in grape/s3xual assault, churches being burned. Just ignore their warning and the “death” chants across America and sharia tribunals popping up in Texas, New Jersey, Michigan, etc. 😳
English

@Sofia50020Sofia It's already banned in all 50 states. The legislation is called the US Constitution.
Maybe if the people calling for a ban on Sharia would actually READ the Constitution.......
English

@urmotheraisha @korrathetaymi @yusufmaxxing Sure, sure, sure. This seems to be the day for insecure Christians who can't discuss anything without insults.
Put a real discussion on the table and you run like a little bitch. :-)
English

@KadyMuhammad1 @korrathetaymi @yusufmaxxing maybe kicking Muhammad more into the flames of hell because this was easy to respond to
English

the arguments keep getting worse from this towel face
it’s not cherry picking that we have a problem with it’s the misinterpretation these muzzies put on the bible and when we refute it u guys say oh well bible is corrupted
and this again shows korra the clueless has no understanding of how the jews knew what was prophetic based on understanding of the hebrew because we wouldn’t expect a person who follows a bewitched prophet who couldn’t read to understand high standard literacy

@merTahaifti1 @Bulvarpress Cruises are actually extremely good price performers as far as vacations go. That's why they're popular.
You're not expected to do anything in your room but sleep, tho.
English

@Rhino787 @neill_sher @MasterMaliq "...hits a Muslim online, they bail 100% of the time."
Truth. :-)
Never do. I block when ad hominems start. There's no reason to deal with indecent people who debate in bad faith.
And....you now fall into that category. Seems fair, since you failed to make a single point.

English

@neill_sher @KadyMuhammad1 @MasterMaliq Once truth hits a Muslim online, they bail 100% of the time.
Can’t handle the thought that they are following a liar who corrupted 2 religions & clearly cherry picked what he wanted to keep & not keep with zero evidence or support to back it up except “trust me”. They turn away.
English

Angel Gabriel (Jibril) played a major role in the lives of many prophets.
In Islam, he was sent by God to deliver revelation to Prophet Muhammad for over 20 years.
So I’m curious from a biblical perspective: what exactly was Gabriel’s role during the time of Jesus?
Did Gabriel ever bring revelation to Jesus?
Was he ever sent to Jesus by "the Father" the same way he was sent to other prophets?
English

@Rhino787 @neill_sher @MasterMaliq 1) Reaction - overstated. Reactions for OT prophets are diverse. There is no single "standard reaction".
2) Test - There's no universally accepted "prophet test".
3) Corruption - Depends prior assumptions. Christianity accepted some/rejected other Hebrew scriptures. Same same.
English

@KadyMuhammad1 @neill_sher @MasterMaliq No. His reaction was different than any other prophet or encounter. He also broke the test of a prophet. He also corrupted, to keep his theology alive.
Think about it, everything he claimed was corrupted helped his theology, everything else stayed.
