Jason Aldean walked off the set of Late Night with Stephen Colbert before playing a single note after the “comedian” tried to humiliate him in front of the audience. “Colbert was introducing him,” said Aldean's manager, Ben Jarroo. “Then he made a crass, unnecessary statement about ‘forgiving him’ for supporting President Trump. Jason wasn’t having it.” When Colbert said his name and motioned for the curtain, there was nobody there. Aldean and his band had walked off—and they won’t be coming back. h/t: Marcia G Jones Is this the right way to respond to such behavior, or should it have been handled differently? Yes or No?

NEW: 75-year-old dies after physical fight with 20-year-old shift leader at Fort Wayne Tim Hortons On May 13, 2026, Anita Ann Grayson entered the Tim Hortons lobby on Ice Way/Lima Road in Fort Wayne to complain about her drive-thru order. She began berating a 17-year-old female employee. When 20-year-old shift leader August Horner intervened, Grayson struck her, sparking a physical fight in which both women fell to the ground. After the altercation was broken up, Grayson sat at a table, then lay on the floor and became unresponsive. The family and community are calling for justice for Grayson and for Tim Hortons to close its doors.

@Jesii_ca_M Whichever one takes it first. All three have issues they’re dealing with and I haven’t personally experienced any of them thank God, so they know better amongst them who has the greater need.

@CindyC917MAGA @BrianEastwoodx You've made it quite clear that constitutional conservatives aren't welcome in the GOP so honestly, no, we don't really give a shit at this point. It'll come to a head eventually and you can come apologizing one day when you need real Americans to do the hard shit.

I’m 33 and for the first time since I turned 18, I’m registering as an independent. 2026 will also be the first election I’ve opted not to vote in. I’m not going to be gaslit that we have a country to save. Call me up when the shooting starts; I can be beneficial then. But voting? Nah, hasn’t fixed anything. Thomas Massie was the litmus test.

@WWG1WGA_QQ School is for teaching not ignorantly picking political sides of a system you've yet to learn about. Ignorance is acting like you have power to change something you're not old enough to even participate.

🚨 BREAKING: A principal in Pennsylvania just drew a line and didn’t blink. Students tried to stage an anti ICE walkout during school hours. Daniel Weber walked straight outside and shut it down. His message was simple. You want to protest on school time? You’re suspended. That’s called leadership. Schools are for learning. Not activist field trips. Not political theater. Parents send their kids to get an education, not to join street rallies in the middle of the day. More backbone like this. Less chaos. More adults in the room. 🇺🇸 FOLLOW ME, THE NEXT DROP WILL BE SHOCKING. @TRUMPNEWS_QQ

@WWG1WGA_QQ Protest anyway. Everyone at the school. Suspend them all if you want to. But do not infringe on the rights of these young people to make a statement in the only way that apparently gets the message heard: When it bothers people.

A six-year-old girl was suspended from school for two weeks after she repeatedly said no to touching a snake during a wildlife presentation. When she got overwhelmed and ran into the hallway crying, the school treated it as an automatic suspension — then the school said she could only return if they provided proof she was getting therapy for her “irrational fear” of snakes. I have very strong feelings about situations like this. Kids need to know that their “no” actually means something, especially when it comes to their bodies and things that genuinely scare them. Pressuring a first-grader and then punishing her for having a normal reaction crosses a serious line. Children’s boundaries deserve respect — even (and especially) at school. What would you do if this happened to your child or grandchild? Would you push back, or is there another approach you’d take?

They loved Marjorie Taylor Greene, now they hate her. They loved Thomas Massie, now they hate him. They loved Lauren Boebert, now they hate her. They made fun of Biden for nodding off ("Sleepy Joe), now they ignore Trump outright falling asleep. They put "I Did That" Biden stickers on high gas prices, now they ignore gas prices being even higher. They bragged about Trump being the no wars President, now they support war. They bashed Biden for sending money to Ukraine, now they ignore Trump sending money to both Ukraine and Israel. They demanded the Epstein files, now they bash anyone asking for the Epstein files. To be a MAGA is to be a slave. Not physically, but mentally. They stand for nothing. We're up against people who stand for nothing. And with the most misplaced confidence you've ever seen, they try to tell us whats-what. We shouldn't even acknowledge these people. The Trump supporters that remain are mentally too far gone. I don't even want to argue with them anymore.

I voted for Donald Trump because, at the time, he felt like the lesser of two options I didn’t trust. I didn’t want to see Joe Biden or Kamala Harris continue what I believed was a system full of corruption, mismanagement, and constant tension. Trump’s message was simple: No new wars. End existing conflicts. Put America first. That was the foundation of my support. But looking at things now, I’m struggling to square those promises with what’s actually happening. We’re seeing conflicts intensify instead of cool down. Billions continue to flow overseas in aid and military support to places like Ukraine and Israel. And at home? People are still dealing with rising grocery bills. Veterans are still without stable housing. Families are still buried in debt and uncertainty. So I keep asking the same question: Where does America First fit into all of this? I didn’t vote for deeper global involvement. I voted for stability at home. I voted for relief, not expansion. And honestly, that’s where my frustration comes from. Not anger for the sake of it—but disappointment in what’s changed, and the gap between what was promised and what feels real on the ground today. I’m not sure how many others feel the same, but it’s getting harder to ignore that gap.
