🚨 Not to go against you here but I’m good on the “better graphics” if all we mean is better lighting/textures/faces. That’s a separate issue from the poor visuals that really have more to do with the sad player silhouettes and ill-fitting equipment… EA will give us player sweat, skin pores, and jersey stitching all day lol… 🤦‍♂️ They have a harder time it seems getting helmets, pads and cleats etc looking right.

@CatholicPacman @BALDMANBAUN You just regurgitating others' talking points. Realism does NOT automatically provide immersion. Long drawn out pregame intros & halftime shows wouldn't provide a fraction of the immersion that an open world RTG would.

He’s right. Let’s really think about how we can bring the college football world to life, before we open it up. Let’s not confuse moving through a walkable menu with “being in a world”. An open-world hub can create immersion, but in a sports sim, immersion is built through: ✅richer pregame presentation ✅matchup intelligence / storylines ✅rankings with weight and movement ✅media framing (playoff desk, momentum, narratives) ✅atmosphere around rivalry, stakes, and season progression That’s immersion because it makes the player feel like they exist inside the ecosystem of college football. If the foundation still has immersion gaps, adding a hub world / walkable menu will just feel like dead decoration. A gimmick that willl get old fast. Again -> Pregame buildup. Weekly storylines. Rivalry energy. Poll movement. Playoff stakes. Studio updates. Momentum. Consequence. Etc. That’s the kind of stuff that makes you feel like you’re inside a college football universe. An open world depends on that. and it can’t replace that
