The billions in EU funding will finally arrive. We promised, and we delivered.
Hungary’s EU Recovery and Resilience Plan has just received the unanimous approval of EU finance ministers. This removes the final obstacle to unlocking up to €10 billion in EU funds.
Many did not believe it could be done. Many thought it was impossible. Fidesz tried to obstruct it, while we worked tirelessly for three months and delivered.
The billions in EU funding are finally on their way and will go exactly where they belong: to the Hungarian people, by directly supporting transportation infrastructure, energy security, healthcare, water management, and local businesses.
Long live a European Hungary!

Reglementarea privind decriptarea și monitorizarea comunicațiilor online, sub pretextul protecției minorilor online, s-a prelungit (până în 2028) printr-o adevărată escrocherie procedurală. În aprilie, reglementarea fusese respinsă de co-legiuitorii europeni (Consiliu + PE). Marți s-a votat pentru re-votarea reglementării, în procedură de urgență. Re-votarea s-a întâmplat joi. În condiții de absenteism major (peste 100 de membri au lipsit), a fost o derută totală în sala plenului. S-a votat chiar și o rezoluție de respingere a respingerii reglementării. Chiar și așa, majoritatea membrilor prezenți a votat CONTRA prelungirii reglementării, dar pentru că proiectul a fost pus la categoria urgențe, trebuia o majoritate absolută - adică 361 de membri din totalul de 720 ai PE. Votul a 320 de membri, dintre cei prezenți, a fost considerat insuficient. Deci, reglementarea s-a considerat prelungită implicit. Proiectul a fost “adoptat” cu minoritate de voturi. Așa ceva nu doar că e de istoria gafelor anti-democratice. Așa ceva va face să crească și mai mult euroscepticismul și neîncrederea în birocrația UEropeană și chiar în democrație. Și e grav.

France: Socialist Party members voted last night to hold a closed primary. It will only include PS (S&D) members and centre-left allies, like Raphaël Glucksmann (PP-S&D) and Bernard Cazeneuve (CONV-*) who are yet to confirm their participation.
This is a blow to PS president Olivier Faure and the hopes of a left-of-centre wide primary.
