We're expecting a big snowstorm in Boston tomorrow and school cancelations are starting. I remember being giddy on snow days, but the kids I talk to who attend microschools and similar spaces are disappointed when they can't go. Want a success metric? Snow-day-sobs is a good one.

Imagine if we used this same line of thought for nutrition assistance… Public education funds are for educating students, not mandating where to go to school, just like nutrition assistance funds are for feeding students, not mandating where to go to get groceries.

Public funds should only go to public schools. It’s plain and simple. The GOP in TN wants to use our tax dollars on everything but what they are intended for.
