The best example of what Stone Cold is talking about was the Mercedes vs Athena match. It wasn't pretty, it wasn’t a dance, it wasn’t choreographed. It was a fight between 2 alphas. Neither woman hit her finisher & it was a struggle from start to finish.
Vick@Vick_8122

When asked what’s the 1 piece of advice he’d give young wrestlers Stone Cold says to sell “As the business has changed & there’s more time to put together a match don’t make it look like a dance. Not everything is perfect. Put some struggle in there.” (@ChrisVanVliet interview)

There's a thing #Kampala does to people 2-3 years after school/graduation. All of a sudden, someone who was curious, analytical & thoughtful adopts a survivalist hustle culture, cutting corners & losing themselves. This has been the worst kind of peer degeneration to see #Uganda

@Timelessthemes @UEDCLTD Lately it takes a month or even more for transformer replacement. Surprisingly in Mbale Bugema, there's one that was recently replaced ,about a month ago but it's already faulty.

Respectfully @SpireJim, I see it differently. AI does not kill thinking. What kills thinking is misuse, just like any other tool. The same was said about mobile phones when they first came to Uganda in the 1990s. People feared they would make us lazy. Instead, they expanded productivity, connected markets, and made communication faster and smarter. Today, no one questions their value because we learned how to use them well. It is the same with AI. When students use it properly, it does not replace their ability to think. It actually challenges them to think even better. AI allows them to access the same body of knowledge, ideas, and latest developments that students in America, Europe, or Asia are seeing right now. It saves time on repetitive searches and allows learners to focus more on critical interpretation, creativity, and problem solving. In research, it helps them filter vast information, test ideas quickly, refine arguments, and innovate more efficiently. If a student simply copies what an App gives, it shows a weakness in assessment and guidance, not technology. But when universities teach AI literacy, encourage original input, and ask students to defend their process, AI becomes a powerful partner in learning. It stimulates curiosity, helps students generate new ideas, and improves the quality of academic work. Instead of seeing AI as the enemy of thought, we should see it as the best chance for African students to compete and collaborate at the same intellectual level as their peers worldwide. When guided well, AI unlocks sharper minds, more creativity, and more innovation. The future is not a generation that does not think, but one that thinks faster, deeper, and more productively with the help of powerful tools. Having said the above, I really thank you for pushing the AI conversation forward, it’s something that we need and constantly. God bless you brother 🙏🏽

While AI is supposed to complement human thinking, it is contributing to killing it by promoting mental laziness. Many university students hardly labour to think through take-home assignments that are meant to sharpen their thinking. They simply ask Apps for answers, even for research dissertations. Education institutions are challenged more than ever before to innovate to teach and assess differently in these times. Otherwise, AI combined with final exam cram-work will produce many good grades with hardly any learning taking place. We may produce a generation of humans that hardly thinks - both because it has answer machines and no time to think (ever busy scanning an endless flow of random pits of information).
