Courtney Dauwalter won a 240 mile ultramarathon by TEN HOURS in 2017 How? By using 4 evidence-based mindset shifts that supercharge endurance I broke down the full details in a new article for @every but here's a TLDR on how Courtney's tactics can make you mentally stronger: 🧵

Hey! 👋 A couple of months ago, I started working with @perplexity_ai as a contract iOS Design Engineer. My first project was building onboarding for the new @comet iOS browser from scratch. (99.9% SwiftUI, by the way.) I got to work with @annuskabarta, @scspeier, and members of the iOS engineering team to make something special. Here’s a preview of the full experience, followed by a breakdown.👇🧵 [1/13]

In 1935, third grader John Boyd was doodling futuristic planes in class. He would grow up to become the best fighter pilot in the world with an undefeated record and influence the design of the F-15 and F-16. Wild how early in life our destinies call to us.

Charlie is consistently ahead of the curve when it comes to using AI for knowledge work and content creation. Fortunately he’s decided to start sharing his knowledge more publicly. Happy to play a small part here.

The biggest misconception about Claude Code is that it's only for developers. The biggest gains in productivity will go to creative people who mix their unique skills with a little technical know-how. Why writers are cheating on their day jobs. 01:27 Lewis's @every article on the #1 prompting technique that beat out 499 others. 06:30 Why Lewis abandoned Gemini's "Gems" for Claude Code. 14:15 Claude Code explained. The before and after. 19:30 Narrative snippets. The story template behind sticky writing. 23:00 What is a skill and when should you build one? 34:30 Live demo. @kayvz with all the studies showing that the productivity gains of AI generated code is offset by the corresponding increased burden of review, this seems like a much needed solution

I want to start a community dedicated to Claude Code. It’s become the gateway drug to coding and experiencing the power of AI for tons of people. This will be a space for people to share killer use cases, agentic workflows, proven prompts, and connect with other CC obsessives. Comment “Claude” if you want to join.

Something I will now do for every new project: Ask the smartest reasoning model available to run a premortem “Fast forward 3 months and imagine this project has failed miserably, brainstorm the top causes of failure” Great for exposing blind spots, plan to mitigate accordingly

A study published in May 2025 analyzed 2.1 million characters created by users on chatbot site character(dot)ai and billions of interactions. Did not predict this being the #1 use case:

AI has shifted the product building bottleneck from knowing how to code, to knowing what's worth coding. In the same way, I feel like AI has shifted the writing bottleneck from knowing how to say things well, to knowing what's worth saying.

America’s ability to prevent its citizens dying from non-communicable diseases (e.g., heart disease, cancer) almost ground to a halt between 2010 and 2019 according to a new study published in the Lancet.

Studying 100s of success cases writing the Action Digest has made something clear Many endured terrible lows where they seemed defeated + hopeless They all broke free with small but steady defiance Just showed up to improve & try again the next day until they caught a break

When Apple is criticized for their AI strategy, are people ignoring that they're working toward making on device models to rival today's APIs? Only theirs will be free, private, simple for app devs to roll out, easy for users to transfer data between apps/one underlying model?

@NoamTenne Yeah solid example - and maybe a dark horse free of constraints comes along with something even more disruptive Again though seems naive to me to write Apple off after seeing the hardware progress they’ve already made in this direction that’s clearly part of a longer term play

@KallowLewis Yes, and the biggest risk is probably the culture/mindset change required. As Microsoft & Nokia have discovered, mobile was not an extension of the PC
