Yesterday, it was an honour to tour Dangote Petroleum Refinery with the Directors of First Holdco and subsidiaries 🐘🏭 We were warmly hosted by Africa’s greatest industrialist, @AlikoDangote, whose ambition to the continent continue to inspire so many of us. Even though I’ve visited the site several times, each visit reminds me of what is possible when big dreams are backed by real action. Africa’s future will be built by leaders who believe deeply in our own people… F.Ote💲

Aliko Dangote just confirmed it himself. The Dangote Refinery IPO is coming to the market by September 2026. Demand is already in billions of dollars. The private placement alone has requests of nearly $2 billion before the public offer even opens. The refinery will produce 10% of America’s entire refining capacity. The largest refinery ever built on earth. The highest turnover of any business in Africa. In his exact words: “We want it to be like Amazon or Apple. The people who bought early became millionaires. That’s what we want to bring to Africa.” Position before September, or watch from the sidelines.

The honest person goes through a transformation post breakup. They hit the gym, church, the outdoors, they spend more time with family and friends, and they focus on career. They improve their diets, seek our therapies, and get deeply motivated to be better. Alone. The dishonest person immediately copes via attention from others, venting and smearing and painting themselves a victim of circumstance and neglect, again. No time to themselves at all, in fact, they're setting up new relationships while still in one, knowing they cannot face being truly alone. Alone with their thoughts, regrets, and their truth. The honest person transmutes that pain from being alone into great success.

@nifemi_os Storing their wealth in foreign banks… investments on foreign stock… properties in foreign lands.. The definition of capital flight. Again there is no incentive to invest locally when corruption can see your land/businesses taken away, and you have access to everything abroad

@KalmPC Corruption is hardly the problem of Nigeria/africans. Capital flight is. That’s the real evil

The last part is what is missing from Nigeria’s ruling class, and all the handicapped economies. They are not prohibited (in fact they are courted) from storing their (countries) wealth in foreign banks, educate their children abroad, healthcare abroad. No incentive to build home

Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote (69) still wakes up at 5AM, hits the gym, then works like his staff. “I treat my business as a hobby if it was a job, I wouldn’t work this hard.” He sold his mansions in the US & UK just to stay focused on Nigeria. No distractions. Pure vision. Now he has Vision 2030. This is what real discipline looks like. Who else is taking notes?

They’re incubated from the consequences of their corruption because they’re not required to rely on the infrastructure of the land they’re supposed to govern. Their wealth, health, and lineage are all protected and grown in enemy territory. It won’t end until that is prohibited.

It took 93 years to admit PCOS isn't just cysts, it’s a full metabolic failure. We’ve been gaslit, handed birth control pills, and told to "just lose weight" while fighting chronic insulin resistance from the inside. Women’s health is still treated as an afterthought. We deserve better.

Sometimes men pull back or gives low effort because he feels that his effort is not being reciprocated. He initiates. He checks in. He plans. A lot of women approach dating from a place of self protection. "You, as a man, have to prove to me that you are worthy of my time, my energy, and my vulnerability." And because of what you have been through past betrayals, disappointments, wounds from other men you believe this is the right way. You build walls. But here is what happens when you are dealing with a man who is actually serious. He is watching. He notices that you are holding back. He sees the walls. He feels the distance. And he begins to wonder: "Am I wasting my time? He does not want to invest months of emotional labour for nothing. Yet the desire does not vanish completely. He still likes you. So he lingers. He watches your stories. He drops a comment here, a like there. He hangs around. It is a temperature check. Let me see how she responds. Let me see if I can still ignite something here. Let me see if there is any sign that she actually wants this as much as I do. It all stems from one simple question are we making mutual effort to know each other? Before you throw accusations before you label him inconsistent, ask yourself: was I coming correct? Was I showing up? Was I matching his energy, or was I waiting for him to prove himself while I sat back and judged Love is not a performance for one person. It is a dance for two

What to eat in the first weeks postpartum: - Beef. The fastest way to rebuild iron and B12. - Bone broth. Easy to digest and loaded with minerals you need. - Eggs with the yolks. Choline, vitamin A, easy on the stomach. - Dates and prunes for energy and to keep your bowels moving. - Sweet potatoes, white rice, oats. Easy carbs your body needs for milk and recovery. - Coconut water and fresh juices. Plain water alone is not enough. - Liver if you can. Even small amounts offer a lot. - Warm cooked everything. Your gut needs easy to digest food right now. Avoid smoothies, salads, and cold drinks. Your body is too newly opened for cold raw foods. Eat like a queen for the first 6 weeks. The faster you rebuild, the better you feel for years.
