This moron really thinks he ‘proved me wrong’ by quoting Talmudic authors written hundreds of years after the Hebrew Bible… from a completely different interpretive tradition…after moral norms had already clearly evolved. And he expects expects to be taken seriously ….you didn’t defend the text, all you did was cite sources that were retroactively rewriting and reinterpreting the retarded laws in the Hebrew Bible. And If your moral system needs centuries of reinterpretation to look humane, then the original law clearly wasn’t. You don’t get to fix a morally primitive law by appealing to later scholars who were uncomfortable with it and were mostly doing Judaic apologetics …. All you’ve done is prove the original criticism. Christian apologists (who are generally just as dishonest as they are moronic) will reach into entirely different traditions and time periods just to avoid admitting what their text plainly reflects. At that point it’s not even honest engagement anymore… it’s damage control. All because you don’t want Yahweh to burn you In hell 😂😂 shame!

Here we go again with this rape rubbish 🤦🏿♂️.. Wo!!? farm Elon money jare Glad God is feeding you one way or the other..

People walk into bars and take alcohol But someone who doesn’t drink is more likely to when it is brought in front of them. That same principle applies here. You’re more likely to have sex when you live in the same house Disagree with me all you want, but let’s not lie to ourselves please

Nobody needs cohabitation to have sex. Sex is the most frequent practice of non-cohabiting partners.

Anyone saying that the Word of God isn't the Word of God is not a Christian.

It's your choice. Let people who want to, do it and if you don't, that's fine too. To every man, his own, REGARDLESS, JESUS CHRIST is the way, the truth and the life.📌

@SkylarksPlace I really want to know why we still view this ancient text written for a particular audience as a flat rulebook for deciding what modern sociocultural concepts are moral or immoral. Reading back our preferences onto the text to make the Bible say what we want it to say is wild.

hot discussion. dear Christians, is Oral sex a sin or not. If Yes, tell us why. because some of us can really speak in tongues! no insults pls.

When questions like these come up, people are quick to say, “It is not written directly in the Bible.” Yet those same Scriptures they rarely search, seldom quote, hardly reference, and do not practice in their everyday lives suddenly become the standard when it is time to defend their logic on a sensitive matter. The Bible becomes convenient only when it supports a position already chosen. As it is written: “They honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.”
