I would like to draw your attention to the nuisance created by some vendors who have illegally set up stalls on the footpath near the Jalukbari bus stand. These people are often extremely rude and often misbehave with passengers waiting for buses. Just today, I witnessed a disturbing incident where a woman stall owner misbehaved with two young lady using extremely abusive language. These girls were standing under a tree for shade while waiting for the bus, yet the woman shouted at them simply because the two girls were standing near her stall. Such behaviour is completely unacceptable and has a negative impact on the public environment. It is also important to note that these vendors neither pay any municipal tax nor are they legally allowed to occupy the footpath. Their unauthorised presence obstructs the movement of pedestrians and creates an unpleasant atmosphere for the public. I respectfully request that immediate action be taken to remove such illegal stalls from the footpath of the Jalukbari bus stand. Ensuring a clean, safe and respectful public space must be a priority. @CMOfficeAssam @mygovassam @gmc_guwahati @assampolice @GuwahatiPol @HardiSpeaks @DGPAssamPolice @mrigen_sarania
