Genuine question: has there ever been a hearthstone deck that you have had fun playing against where you ultimately lose the game?

Enrage warrior is so funny because you guys remember back in like 2022-pre titans where everyone complained non stop that warrior was bad yet... it just wasnt? Enrage Warrior was genuinely a good deck that entire time but NO ONE would play it. I think this should have been a learning experience for Blizzard that while *yes* a class can have a good deck if no one at all wants to play it whats the point?

@Kanapesh_HS The fact they play twisted pack and can play wild paw gnolls for 0 mana on turn 1 and obsidian shard and then play 10-15 cards by turn 2/3 consistently so they can play arcane giant and then breakdance that's why wild players despise rogue

@FlareIsGone It has happened before, and if I have good memory, it always ended up in RPS because every match up was so polarized. Rogue is usually decent against everything, great against nothing and provides actual agency on the way you run your game. What's not to like really ?

@AlecoGereco This sounds to me like one of the steps to AI "taking over and destroying humanity" where it pushes humanity to destroy itself faster. What I find grim is the idea that a minority of people will use it to fuck everyone else to their own profit

Many imagine a grim future where AI takes over and destroys humanity. I think a more likely grim future is one where AI keeps us around like we keep dogs and cats. They’ll spend all day doing things beyond our comprehension while we sit around getting treats and compliments.

Nowadays I get the impression that there is a bigger proportion of games that feel like watching TikTok (the quick dopamine shot from making Molten Giants on 3) or gambling (where you do or don't hit the Bomboss with Dirty Rat) and maybe Rogue is how you dodge those best.

I was thinking about this. All of my favorite decks gave a sense of progression during games. Evocation Mage, Galakronds, Zul'jin Hunter, Boar Priest and other combo decks were about starting slow and building up to something epic, and I've been missing that for a while.

One of the most balanced metas we've ever seen. Unfortunately, many of those strategies don't seem to be offering appealing game plans to better players, with the intrinsic attractiveness of Exacvate Rogue is not being adequately replicated elsewhere

@MeatiHS IRL is less toxic than online but it's like looking for the best card in a structure deck that has the name of your area on it
I think online is better if you must pick because it has way more people and gives you shots at meeting better people you would've never met otherwise

I agree with this. My teenage son was questioning why 90 year-olds can vote on his future but he can’t. Fair point. If you are old enough to have sex and get married you should be old enough to vote.
