@epradeep98 Probably due to the fact that they are a matriarchal society. Civic sense and cleanliness is next level in Meghalaya.

Every tourist place we visited in Meghalaya had clean paid toilets. No one appreciates this more than my wife who always complains about the lack of public toilets wherever we travel in India. So much for the rest of India to learn from the small state of Meghalaya.

Major change in ITR Form - The new ITR form has now introduced specific columns to report turnover from Futures & Options (F&O) trading and the income from such trading that is credited to the profit and loss account. This is actually a very practical and welcome move. Till now, one of the biggest issues faced during ITR filing was the mismatch between turnover calculations as per F&O norms and the figures reflected in financial statements or tax audit reports. Many taxpayers used to disclose only net profit in the P&L without clearly reflecting turnover as per prescribed F&O turnover computation methods, leading to repeated notices and clarifications.

Health Minister @JPNadda ji was not informed of the individual FIR filed by FSSAI officer who is already under enquiry. Strict action is being taken against the individual officer. Minister has taken cognisance of the matter and believes that strong action will be taken.

1) Most people don’t even know that the govt is already conducting an inquiry against that officer (certainly not saving her) 2) That officer has filed a case alleging that @khurpenchh leaked the inquiry findings (he can confirm). 3) @JPNadda ji is aware of this matter and acknowledges the contribution of social media users 4) Guilty officers won’t be spared. 5) The FIR won’t affect these social media users, because the cases filed against them have nothing to prove.

Instead of fixing the system, making themselves more accountable and doing actual work, FSSAI officials are threatening social media users for raising fingers towards them.. Really shameful. BJP leaders are tolerant, bureaucrats aren't.. Problem is, it will affect BJP's image not theirs.

Since an FIR has been filed against me, I want to ask the Health Minister a few questions. JP Nadda ji, why is FSSAI going after those who are raising questions instead of those accused of wrongdoing? In a Democracy, does an ordinary citizen not have the right to question alleged irregularities in public institutions? We exposed alleged corruption and irregularities in FSSAI’s recruitment process. Instead of investigating the matter, FIRs are being used against those speaking in the public interest. Is this accountability or an attempt to intimidate and silence dissent?
